We have pretty much no comparison to say we have one of the best squads at all that's a nonsense. The way I see it we have players who are decent and some who aren't. To say Bayliss is freezing people out is beyond frustrating, unless you see the players train, work with them and select them based on this how do you know Parkinson's isn't a lazy trainer who can't be arsed but have him as our saviour on the back if a pre season game or two? We see 90 minutes once or twice a week so to say such stuff as this is folly. As I said yest, ATM it's a "nearly" team so far. We have played some good stuff for periods of games but just haven't clicked so far for a full 90 although I didn't see Harrogate so not including that game. People are just looking for an opportunity to be up in arms I think and try and have a clean sweep of new board new manager new players. Williams and odonnell are awful but how many were clambering for odonnell to come back preseason? As mentioned we have had a tough start and as I only expect a top ten finish considering the teams we have played we aren't far off where we should be. It is worrying how bad we have been in parts. First half v bpa for example but we have also been decent in parts for example v Alty. Mills had his best game I've seen yest but overall hasn't delivered so far, can't legislate for players under performing. We missed ARH yest, not seen much to suggest arnison should start Johnson has been our best striker and Allen has looked good, so to then moan we "are starting loan players this is not fair" I'd pick the two who started yesterday I would have put Bowen on with 20 to go as he's raw as [SwearFilter] but he gives a different option and think he will be Andy cook esque. Overall I'd giver our start a 6/10. Could do better but not disastrous. Brackley was just awful from both sides and we narrowly lost, Alty we were the better team and unlucky to get nothing, bpa we were awful first half and improved second got a draw which was fair but could have won it. Harrogate I didn't see but seems we won and battled well. Yesterday we played well in patches, looked good going forward but the defence was appalling. Lets all unpress the panic button and sit back and watch us move up the table, when they click I think we will do ok there will be horror shows this year and games where we are awesome, lets support them and see where the adventure takes us.

We've got a new group of players, so it's bound to take time for them to gel together.

On top of that, we've had a tough start playing 4 out of the top 5 sides (according to the current league table).

Our next 3 games are against Gloucester (H), Gainsborough (A) and Colwyn Bay (H), where we should really be looking to pick up at least 6 points.

A new team needs time to gel but of course this isn't happening its not being allowed to because new strangers are being thrown in -

Surely Bayliss should have some common sense instead of playing people out of position instead of Parkinson. Arnison doesn't look like he's going to be played much now anyway, which is a player we need, considering he is one of the most dangerous strikers in the Skrill North ...

Applying common sense and reasoning to this may be a waste of time.
Look up Narcissistic Personality Disorder and in particular their bullying trait and reaction when fantasy dreams don't work out immediately and how they fixate on the person they then blame for that failure. Apply that to the situation where a new player is brought in as the ultimate solution to all our problems but who doesn't click immediately and is discarded.

Yesterday was my first Barrow game of the season, and I can't deny I was shocked at the poor quality of football on show at this level. I was expecting much better. Hednesford took the lead after about quarter of an hour courtesy of an agricultural looking challenge from (at the other end of the pitch it looked like) Robbie Williams which resulted in a converted penalty. Five minutes later their lead was doubled after a succession of tackles were missed by the defence. At that point I was fearing a Mansfield-esque hammering. However, Barrow started to turn things around with some decent play, and got one back through Dale Johnson's double header 1-2 off the post.

Barrow finished the first half the brighter and had chances to equalise along with good possession. I'll go out on a limb here and say Barrow were the better of the two teams in the first half. Unfortunately the second half was a complete no-show. We were utterly abysmal and it came as no surprise when Hednesford bagged their third, thanks to woeful defending from Burns. I don't subscribe to the suggestions of the Barrow fans around us that the third knocked the stuffing out of us - there was no stuffing in the first instance to be knocked out. We were powder puff across the park and incapable of making tackles.

Special mention must go to Burns and Williams - two of the most atrocious 'footballers' I have ever witnessed. Meechin and Bowen suggested they had never played football before either when they came on but I will concede there wasn't enough time to put together a totally balanced opinion of them.

I am seriously concerned about this performance and my feeling is this season is going to be one long grind.

Couldnt have put it any better,infact from what Ive seen I am starting to get very worried about the club I love.I tried to be upbeat after the harrogate game but to be perfectly honest they carved up our defence on half dozen occasions ,just didnt take their chances.Dont think bayliss is up to it dont think most of his signings are up to it.What annoys me even more is his mention and comments on the clubs possible takeover in tonights mail and no mention of this bad start to the season and saturdays lack lustre show.I think this team is the worst I have seen at Holker st for years,years.I even think this clown could take us down again,am worried by what Ive seen so far.

if we dont pick up 6/7 points from the next 3 games questions should be asked of bayliss the mans done a good job in the past but thats history now i would like to see a new manager who likes to attack abit and give us some entertainment value his time should of been up along time ago.

Good post chief right on the mark. We have played 4 out of the current top 5 teams and we are the only side to take maximum points off any of them.

Don't get too depressed,it sounds like you've new to games at this level? Unlike the well drilled full-time professional teams of the Conference Premier division (and above) the majority of teams at this level can not defend very well and can not stop the other side from having chances. The lack of ability to take those chances also comes into play and is why these players are playing at this level. It often leads to very open games with both sides squandering chances.
