Re: tuesday night boycott
You could raise the issue at the AGM
We're all supporters on here. Let's leave the negative comments to the away fans
Re: tuesday night boycott
Has he definately gone back to Halifax. R.Dodd said they should know by Saturday night if he is staying on.Barrow Bluebirds wrote:Gonna struggle with our best player (Johnson) not being here anymore...
A boycott by those on the forum might barely be noticed at such short notice. Better to turn up with "Bayliss Out" as a shout if you want to make an impression. Support the players and keep it till to the end of the game as it might put the players off.

Re: tuesday night boycott
50 odd people boycotting won't make a difference, we either all do it, which I'm not, or we all go down at voice our opinions. Do other things like someone else said like all fans turn their backs and face away when they walk out but still chant as usual. Anything but a boycott.
Re: tuesday night boycott
Don't boycott the game- It is understandable given the performances and result and it's easier to stay away. But by not going it solves nothing. Come to the games and forget Bayliss- let the club deal with that. Make your voice heard and get behind the team. They need our support- why would you turn your back on them. what is that going to achieve. Why don't all the singers get every song in the book and try and create a winning atmosphere? This is what fans do right? Not turn the back on the players.dcarradus wrote:by what other ways can you protest though its either vote with your feet or shout bayliss out or sack the board what else is there ?

Re: tuesday night boycott
I'll be going Tuesday ,boycott wont do any good imo.
BOD have to make the correct decision over Bayliss and act accordingly, maybe starting with suspending him as manager until inquiry is completed,
Let Meechan look after the team in meantime
We need to give full support to the team

This exactlyMark Johnson wrote:Absolute disgrace those planning on boycotting.. And if you are planning on boycotting, why write it on here? .. Or is this simply an excuse for the Man United fan side of you to stay at home and watch that on TV? The real Barrow fans will stick it out and the rest of you will return when things look rosy again.
Re: tuesday night boycott
I won't be going plainly because I have night school, but there's better ways of showing your dissatisfied opinion than boycotting the game.

Re: tuesday night boycott
This is a ridiculous thread & will hurt no one apart from our club (our club, not DB's club)
Get down there on Tuesday & by all means give your chants of "Bayliss out" perhaps by the players tunnel during H/T so he & the BoD's can hear it but by not putting money into the club in already desperate times is just not right, not right at all.
By not turning up & if it became a much bigger event where 200-300 never bothered because of their feelings about Bayliss & a bill came in off someone that we couldn't pay what would happen then - back to the courts over unpaid monies....or even worse!!
Everyone should make the effort to attend on Tuesday, make your voice heard in other way's (keeping it civil preferably) but this way just isn't right.

We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Re: tuesday night boycott
Boycotting the game is going to achieve nothing more than send the club one step closer to bankruptcy, maybe pay your money at the gate, and turn your back when DB comes out to show your dissatisfaction.

My feelings exactly.Bigfathoss wrote:I've got nothing better to do. And it might be worth it just to be a witness to whatever may happen if Bayliss is still manager.
First game I've looked forward to in ages.

Re: tuesday night boycott
I was just saying this at work , this should be a major advertising point for this game. If he is still here it will be a welcome distraction from the utter shit on display on the pitch.Reg wrote:My feelings exactly.Bigfathoss wrote:I've got nothing better to do. Re: tuesday night boycott
I won't be there tonight and it's purely down to one thing 'money'
I've seen one game so far this season and was left disappointed at best
I've not a pot to pee in and could not justify lending it to watch dross
It might not be a lot to some people but when you don't have it then
Diff story. Hope we win and it's on radio cumbria
