Strange that as I'm in East Yorkshire.
Also heard that on the radio that the couple of fans who abused Bayliss last Saturday, met the manager and a couple of directors and retracted their statements.
Very strange.

Bayliss wasn't on the touch line tonight, presume he was sat in the stand?

Radio Cumbria just tweeted that the investigation is over after the fans withdrew their complaint

There's a difference between retracting your statement and withdrawing your complaint.

So what about the expletive ridden after match rant is that just being forgotten about?, that carpet in the boardroom must be massive all the stuff that's swept underneath it.

I'm sure Chris will be on here at some point.

He told me that he met Bayliss, had a chat with him and that they still disagreed on what actually happened.

Chris has withdrawn his complaint because as I understand it, he doesn't think there is anything to be gained by pursuing it.

That doesn't mean it didn't happen, although I suspect that is how those who want to brush it under the carpet will want to present it.

Agree to disagree and move on would be more apt.

Wish I had filmed it all now,
I will try and see him in Boston and ask for apology for wrongly accusing me of filming him.

We could have been rid of Bayliss!

I don't think we'll see the back of him until there are changes right at the top.

I really don't understand it. By all accounts we can get shot of him for nothing if we want - what have we got to lose by doing it? Surely we cant get any worse!

Such a sad state of affairs where I'm having to write comments like that about a Manager who played a major role in giving Barrow there most successful 2/3 years in decades

Depends on how much we owe him? Sure, we won't have to pay his contract up but what if we owe him say £10k in unpaid wages, training expenses he covered etc.?

I guess thats money we'll owe him whenever it is he eventually goes? It's a huge gamble to delay payment of this money (if he is owed any) assumedly in the hope that Bayliss gets us back to a position where we are at least breaking even and can afford to repay it. The Board have gotta realise that 6 months down the line we could be even further in trouble financially, especially the direction results and attendances are going, with no hope of forking out whatever cash we may or may not owe him

I realise I'm directing this at you as if it's your fault - I'm just venting!

I don't want to say too much because I don't know anything but I have some thoughts that if put into print might get me into trouble.

I've aired them to folk in person though and nobody has vehemently disagreed.
