Lancashire Cup
Is the draw for this soon? I fancy a little trip away to somewhere new and tinpot...
Steve Herbert supports the nob theory - Saturday 4th February 2012.
If this bus crashed and everybody on it died, Barrow football would end - Daz Boyle, Boston away, August 9th 2014.

http://www.lancashirefa.com/news/2013/o ... ult-update
Interested to see on the list of clubs taking part this season that Holker, Marine and Southport were not included. The latter two I would assume are primarily affiliated to the Liverpool FA, and so no longer qualify, but anyone any idea why Holker were not in it this season?

Re: Lancashire Cup
During the summer the Lancashire FA changed qualification for the Lancashire Senior Cup and member clubs of the Lancashire FA playing in the Conference Premier will now be admitted to the Lancashire Senior Cup - and Southport will therefore be playing inthe Senior Cup and have drawn Preston North End away. Sadly our relegation means we cannot take advantage of that rule

Re: Lancashire Cup
The game is week commencing 18th November but it will be off if an FA Trophy replay is needed.
They need to slow the draw down a bit next time to prolong the suspense

Re: Lancashire Cup
Will the under 18 s be getting a run out in this comp or are we in it to win it..is the final at the reebok again...would be a great night out

Re: Lancashire Cup
If my guess is right it might also involve an FA Cup 1st Round Proper replay if that round is 9th?John Very Little wrote:The game is week commencing 18th November but it will be off if an FA Trophy replay is needed.

Re: Lancashire Cup
I think it will be at the Reebok, and knowing previous seasons, it will be a mix of regulars and fringe players so no doubt some of the U18s will feature.mrsenario wrote:Will the under 18 s be getting a run out in this comp or are we in it to win it..is the final at the reebok again...would be a great night out
Given the relative lack of strength in this competition this season we should be looking at giving it a real go IMO.
Re: Lancashire Cup
Think your right Rich on Reebok. And it is a great place for the final, i joined a few friends when i first moved here when Chorley won there and even though only the main stand was open it was great. Was it Goole we played at Maine Rd when the main stand was open? Was that the Bob Lord Trophy or something? i cant remember much as i was only maybe 8/9, i do recall the concepts of "flippy seats" being a problem for me, every time i stood up i sat down missing the seat on almost every occasion!!!Richard Ingham wrote:I think it will be at the Reebok, and knowing previous seasons, it will be a mix of regulars and fringe players so no doubt some of the U18s will feature.mrsenario wrote:Will the under 18 s be getting a run out in this comp or are we in it to win it..is the final at the reebok again...would be a great night out

That's correct, we went in your dad's car, I however left you once inside, didn't want to be seen with you as I was 15.ruins wrote:Think your right Rich on Reebok.
