Dan Parkinson back from loan

Post by DaveBarter » Thu Oct 24, 2013 5:18 pm

Will he be in the cup squad? He played most games for Northwich although I don't think he got a full 90 mins, so he should be reasonably match fit. It would be good if he has returned sharp and raring to compete for a place. We will need strikers from early Jan when Allen and Rushton complete their loan periods.

I've liked the look of him from what I've seen, hope he gets a chance and grabs it with both hands!

Sounds like another Bayliss campaign to drive out a player.

What's the odds on it going like this:

Blame O'Donnell for the bad results.
Get a loan player for his position.
Play the loan player and make O'D sit it out on the bench.
Now after 1 week say he needs match fitness and make him play for raggy arse united.
Drop him from the squad altogether and make him watch from the stands ...
after an early arrival and a public training session on his own before the game.
Make him travel up to Barrow on his own mid week for school visit/coaching
etc etc

bringing in a player on youth loan apart from the odd bit of play most of the youth signings are not what we require (not their fault but they are still learning!).

so we have inexperienced players or people coming here to get fit!

hope i am wrong but it seems like a recipe for disaster!

Parkinson isn't a loan player, he' signed during the summer.
Popular side since '03.
