Unsure if you'll be elligible to vote now Shaun.
Pretty sure it was mentioned by Steve Leonard or Jeff Smith from Winder's that you had to be a member at the time the voting forms were first sent out in order to be elligible to be able vote in the present ballot.

I would imagine it's just a gentle reminder for those who have still to vote.

I think the club want as many votes as possible so they know the true feelings of members.

I don't think it's just a case of reaching 75%.

Its just a gentle reminder, which will probably be repeated over the next week or two.

Nothing to get excited about!

I personally don't know of one member who hasn't voted one way or the other yet. If anyone hasn't voted the chances are they want the deal to fall through anyway as they must surely by now know if they dont vote it will be counted as "against"

Heard one of the daftest reasons EVER over the weekend by a couple of people who voted NO, one of them (I think) comes on here occassionaly to shit stir.

I don't think he'll be revealing his identity or his reasons
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Peter, I don't suppose yourself or S.Leonard could reveal the total number of voting papers that were sent out and how many have been returned so far?

With two weeks to go, a number of people may not have voted yet, or if they have their vote may still be in the post.

I would hope that all members do vote however, either Yay or Nay, so that the result is a true reflection of the views of the membership.

I know this probably wouldn't be possible due to people having to set it up,but at the final 2 home games could there be some kind of voting system for members who haven't yet done so,or may not of received forms,or have been living in a cave and have no idea what is going on.
Might just promp a few people to vote.

How difficult or time consuming is it to stick a tick or cross on a piece of paper, put it in a pre- paid envelope and put it in a post box? ...........only saying!

Trouble is most people open their post and then put it to one side and it may or may not resurface again.

I was told many years ago that a good maxim in life is to deal with each piece of paper just once.

Wish I could have stuck to that advice!
