Just as Tommy says Dave, a very simple job but we're just struggling to get onto that with some of the other stuff we have going on.

When we were doing turnstile "D" on Sunday we discovered a problem with the electrics in there, that in turn had the knock on effect of blocking the power to the toilets & turnstiles E & F, obviously not ideal with a match this Saturday. A bit of a plea went out to Whitty 1969 & he met me down there tonight, slightly longer job than we first thought but thanks to Neil you can pay & [SwearFilter] with lights on :D

Peter Schofields lads were busy up on the X Bar roof & the windows that wrap around the bar area have also been started on. Great to see so much going on.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Just had it confirmed off Jamie that an account has now been set up for funding the jobs that go on around the ground. The float* will be for the smaller maitenance jobs such as the turnstiles & terrace repairs that will need to be done while the bigger work is being planned I suppose.

*Jamie asked me point out that with him being a Scotsman I had to emphsise the float was "small"..............it's actually all that's needed.

If Shirley tried that surely it might be a bit obvious...Shirley.

If there's room Nige I can't see why not. Trouble is, yesterday afternoon I asked if we could squeeze three more on & Suzanne is having to throw a table alongside where we are so I think it might bollox her table layout a bit if you come from another room.

I suppose we can ask when we're in there.

I don't think I've ever been in the FA Trophy corporate room before but as I went passed it yesterday it looks like it's had a bit of a make-over, nothing major but new chairs & smaller tables - looks good.

Sunday morning visit on this weekend. Jobs on the go are -

Press box.
Turnstile upgrades.
Fixing the disabled supporters roof.
Re-concreting areas of terracing.
FItting the sink & plumbing in the BST (and it goes on!!)
Litter picking & general clean up after the Saturday game.
Can anyone fit an external door with a lock? We'll sort the door this week if someone can spare the time to fit it.

Access through turnstile "C" at 9:00am & onwards.

[quote="tictactoe" the sooner those yellow lines etc disappear the better. Ridiculous that we can't stand there because of the odd muppet. [/quote]

I got a bollocking the other day for going about a foot over the yellow lines, what is the point of them?

Due to a number of people not being able to make it this week for various reasons, we've decided it best to call off the Sunday morning ground visit.

Peter N, if you & Ian RVJ wanted to carry on with the press box I'll get the GMA keys dropped off for you, entirely up to you two.

Bloody hell, been a few weeks since we posted & I had to go looking for this page!!

There'll be a visit to the ground this week (Sunday the 5th Oct)

Job's on the go will be - The press box upgrade, painting, STILL that small plumbing job, small amount of electrical work, making the roof watertight on the disabled area roof, general ground tidy up, turnstile work, and for that "special Sunday mornig ground experience".....terrace repairs with old Tommy nine toes (steel toecaps recommended while jobbing with T9T'S)

Could really do with wrapping that very small plumbing job up........Kendal Bluebird.........Whitty 1964!!

We'll be there from 9:00 am & access through turnstile "C"

Just another reminder for this Sunday.

Still no one to do the small plumbing job or the electrical work, the rest of the jobs will all fall into place with whoever is there.

Hangovers aren't a requirement but there'll be a few knocking about.
