WHILST getting the results at home, the performances have not convinced me. AGAINST a quality Guiseley team tomorrow, I see a big wake up call coming.

0-3.

I don’t tend to go in for the predictions mullarkey but appreciate that it’s a bit of harmless fun. However, I think my thoughts seem to align with BinnyJ above (on a first post) in that all runs must come to an end. Whenever there is a long run or sequence, the perceived wisdom is to suggest it will continue because past results suggest it; I adopt the opposite psychology, and tend to worry more as a sequence progresses because the laws of probability suggest the longer a run continues the more likely it is to end next time. To me, “home bankers” etc are anything but and there’s all the more reason for alarm bells to ring!

So, we’ve won 7 on the trot at home; all the more reason for me to worry about today’s match (all good things come to an end and all that).

However, to finish on a positive note, Guiseley are unbeaten away from home this season so all the more reason to believe that their run is due to end. It’s about time they lost on their travels! Whatever happens, something’s got to give today!
