How can you leave our main goalscorer on the bench until 20 minutes from time when we are 0-0 and not had a shot on target? Baffles me.

I think the idea is that he comes on all fired up with the 'I'll show you what I can do' attitutude, which worked last time. Unfortunately it didn't yesterday and he was as abject as everyone else, goalkeeper excepted.

Cook has shown what he can do all season. To leave him out now at this stage is baffling. Cook with Wilson. Reid / Pilkington down the flanks with Harvey through the middle.

Cook came off the bench looking rather disinterested and didn't pressure defenders. Carver did more.

What has McMillan done? He has contributed fully to the position the team is in, as has Taylor who is the man in form who currently has the shirt.

Macca made a couple of mistakes and Taylor was rightly given a chance and to be fair has taken it.

Not sure either keeper would be conference prem standard but i would keep Taylor as he is young and sign a hopefully higher standard keeper in the summer.

Edmo made a comment on RC before the game when asked about Wilson regarding the need to get Wilson match fit as this might be really important if we had a three game playoff to contend with at the end of the season. Cant argue with his logic and Wilson looks better every time he's given a run out but I thought it was a slightly odd comment given we want to avoid the play-offs. I also agree that playing with Cooky's mindset is not a wise thing to do.

Somehow its symptomatic of BAFCs whole approach this season which is to play the "long game", outlasting the opposition rather than necessarily outclassing it. I think that's been at the root of much of the criticism of the enjoyment factor this season. Irony is that Fylde present as the complete opposite, playing incisive delightful football when they're in the groove but threatening to run out of puff when it matters most.

I think we'll only know how good a team Edmo & Meeks are if and when we do go back up to the Conf Prem. I think we've been playing a lot of Telford football this season - they won this league pretty efficiently last season also without setting the division alight. They are now heading swiftly back to it at the bottom of the Prem.

We might have greater funding available if we do go up and this might enable us to put together a squad that can hope to do more than survive. The issue at the moment is just to get out of this division however we can. So I'll not slam the management team for chucking whatever resources they can at the problem as long as it works.

Edmos place in the BAFC "Hall of Fame" however wont be confirmed by performances in the Conference North.

Cook did chase down players and have a couple blocked, he put a shift In given the time he had on the pitch. Cook maybe carrying a niggle , but Edmo could say so ! No harm in saying.

Total waste of time playing Walker deep and adds no value, ARH or Lacey need to be in there to add a bit of fight, Ledsham and Jase to the bench

Heard today that it is Wilson who is carrying an injury, is playing with injections and needs another operation at the end of season.

On Friday (if he plays) watch how many times he half stands with his hands on his knees when the ball is out of play
