Anybody going my.way.

Hi,
As my username.indicates I'm now in my half a century of years following Barrow. I now live in York but try to get to as many games as possible, a home game involves a two hundred and thirty miles round trip but I must have seen more than twenty games this season home and away. I'm desperate to get to Lowestoft for that final game, I have priced the train and that is my final resort the journey from Peterborough is really long winded and I was wondering is anybody coming across the M62 corridor and can give me a lift from somewhere on that route. Or perhaps could give me a lift from Peterborough its on the main line from York. It goes without saying that I would give the person paying for fuel and also for the inconvenience. Thanks for the replies from The real Slim a former member of this forum and The Chief, I'm not sure a former member of this forum where you got your train times and prices from but according to the station in York, the cost is just under £60 thats if I buy a £30 railcard and the journey is five hours fifty minutes (time is not the issue). Hi 'The Chief' thanks for your kind offer of a lift, I will look at my opitions tonight and let you know by 21.00 hours if I would like to take up your offer. Again thanks to everybody for their communications and help, it's like being part of a big family unit.
