Not only suspended but his 3 month loan deal ends before the Dover game he has most likely played his last game for us for now.

That's a shame. He has been good.

Get back to Grand and Livesey with Cowps at RB, put Symmo in at LB and we'll be back on clean sheets.

So that's 3 of the back 4 that played the first 3 games and conceded 9 goals, but without Ashton so playing with a left back that's not a left back.

Can't see a clean sheet there.

I was at the the club on Tuesday, and the only player with a smile on his face as he came in was ARH the rest already looked a beaten team.

Otis K looked decent I thought, maybe he will be the man that saves our popular manager?

Cowps at RB I have serious worries over..

ARH should be getting a game, give him his due, he's stuck around and stuck at it.

Only because he's on a contract - he was desperate to leave when we were potless. Trialled at Macc and Stockport, iirc, and came back when neither wanted him.

Ach I know Dave, but considering many of us would have run him out of town with pitchforks at one point he's done well to overcome that

Lacked a dominating midfield for a while. ARH is the best midfielder we have. Remember a few seasons back when we were struggling for points and Bayliss went three in the middle- Baker / Ferrell and Sheridan Senior. It gave us stability and we won 4 on the bounce which basically saved our season. I'd be happy for Edmo to try similar and try and give us a bit more steel in midfield were we never seem to gain control. if we win the midfield battle then we'll steady the ship.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

Cowps has not done badly in midfield, but I remember Hyde (away) last season and some of his other appearances at full backthat I would really prefer to forget. He is a good lad but he is NOT a full back. The fates may have left us in a dire position in this area but at least I can say, "I told you so" - it was a dreadful mistake to let Burnsey go. Maybe he is not the best RB in the world but his enthusiasm and commitment, both sadly lacking at present, rubbed off on both fans and, more importantly, his team-mates.

We are in a pretty pickle in the FB department. Let us hope Torquay have no wingers.

Their top scorer is a winger - James Hurst - but luckily he seams to be a bad lad as the club have suspended him for something he got up to in Torquay last week.... and he won't be in the squad at the weekend
Lancashire;- born and bred
