Who would (will) be interim manager?

For all things Barrow AFC. Keep discussions civil and fair, we're all Barrow aren't we!

When is the last season you saw Barrow AFC play consistently entertaining, quality football?
It wasn't that long ago. Before the wheels fell off the team with Boyes, Cook and Macreth et all was awesome to watch. I'd kill for a bit of that right now!

It's a sad day in Barrow - that's for sure.

All the supporters wanted really was a team to be proud of and I think the owner would have settled for that too.

As was once proudly stated ' money can't buy you love' or an overnight quality, entertaining team. However, that shouldn't be an excuse for lack of commitment.
It's not what you spend, it's how you spend it and when.
I'm not being sucked in by anything...it is there for the world to see how much money he's said has gone into the playing side. Its a hell of a lot more than we've been afforded the luxury of and its been jizzed up the wall on mostly crap. How can we justify paying for Fofana then sending him back having barely touched a ball? Get your head out of the sand.
1.Thank you, you agree with me.
2.Don't believe everything you read or hear that is naive.
3.That's what I said, it's not what you spend it's how you spend it- Fofana =poor spend. However he was probably in our budget range.
4. Don't worry, Father Christmas will be here soon with your presents, if you're on the good list that is. x

I also agree with that to an extent but .......

You must have been in jobs before where you go to work for a manager who is a useless [SwearFilter] and you wonder how he (or she political correctness fans) is in that role , it drags everyone down and results in poor performances - for that read Edmo at Barrow.
B.A.E. is full of them but the "lads and lasses" have a bit of pride and get the job done sadly some of our present squad don`t care about edmo ,the fans or paul casson, the sooner they are sorted out the better, the fans have been really patient with the present squad but i think that`s wearing thin now!

Yeah - this says a lot:

Cox would always struggle as a league manager.I often came away from a stags game when we had won thinking it was poor quality football.I remember talking with the ex chairman at Eastwood just after we had signed him as Stags manager.Asked him what style he played. He said you will not like his style. How very true.

I'd love us to play like a non league Barcelona but it's never going to happen. People won't care that Cox also plays crap football if we are getting results

There's plenty of clips on Youtube of Mansfield 2012-13. Big strong side - packing penalty areas and 92 goals in that title winning season. Don't think we'd complain too much if he could bring that here.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

We could sign Ronaldo and Messi and people would complain on here.

Cook and Haworth for starters...
