No they don't, most mobiles have wi-fi capability if its switched on. But when switched off or where no wi-fi is available your network's 3G/4G signal is used. The no internet at the club excuse is pathetic in this day and age. Even if they are having problems getting permanent internet sorted, buy a [SwearFilter] dongle as a temporary measure. Its not rocket science!

I was getting a pretty reliable email service on a Nokia Communicator in the early 2000's via a cellular network

Might even still be in a drawer somewhere, could offer the club a free upgrade.

I watch Sky go, youtube and other streaming sites on my mobile so this lack of internet excuse is nonesense.

Interesting point raised about FGR club debt running at £5.4m. Seemingly unfazed by this, their owner is taking this hit, his point / justification being- "From next season clubs in league 2 will get £1m per season and in this league you get nothing, so to become financially stable, getting into League 2 is a massive part of that. When we achieve that overnight we'll be running virtually at break even."

That's his thinking- get out of this league and we'll financially within our means. Not sure if it's a good way to operate as promotion in football is not guaranteed, that's why it's all the more crucial for our club to generate income all year whilst we hope the club stays within reach of the ordinary fans. This is why we also need a strong influential Trust.

In a recent court hearing brought by his ex wife for an improved divorce settlement his net worth was estimated at £188 million so I dont think he will be too worried about debts and we all know when divorce settlements are estimated there's usually a large amount not declared he also may be running this debt up for divorce reasons.

Thanks Richard. I thought PC came across as quite defensive and sharp in this section. But i understand the pressures must be pretty hefty with everything that he is trying to achieve at the club. All round good Q&A`s to be honest. Regarding three people working at the club on different shifts (mid week) that's prob the answer as to why things are a bit slow? only one person there at a time is what this actually means.

The club simply needs to employ someone who loves sales targets and bonuses.
