Re: Barrow v Tranmere predictions
Anyone any idea when Haworth will be fit again, seems to have been out a long time, one of edmo's better signings.

Re: Barrow v Tranmere predictions
2-1 barrow. Tranmere haven't been doing very well lately and can't see us keeping a clean sheet. Cook and J.Williams with the goals for us

I may have missed something.....has Khan's loan period been extended? Can't recall anything on here about it. Officially he was at Barrow until 2nd January, and that is still what club website says (notoriously unreliable I know). Hope he's still with us. As a loanee he's been a real success - positive and skilful with some good goals.
Re: Barrow v Tranmere predictions
Otis Khan's loan was already extended to 2nd January, see Sheffield Uniteds website. He was on an initial short term loan, which is a month that could have been extended up to another 2 months, the end of January. It was only extended to 2nd of January, don't know why that date but it did sound like Sheffield wanted to keep their options open, but Cox may also have been thinking of the transfer window and freeing up places.Hitthebar22 wrote:mrsenario wrote:Otis Khan....running down the wing....he puts the ball in the box and .......Jord puts it in!!!!......... sing with me

He was injured in the Southport game before being taken off as a precaution. As a result of that injury Cox said he would miss the new years game against Gateshead, so Southport was his last appearance. Pretty sure he is back at Sheffield United. We would have to sign him on a new deal to get him back, not sure but I don't think we could sign him on a short term loan again. Khan was an Edmo signing to cover injuries to our wide players. Cox extended the loan but has players under contract that either need game time or kicking out. He is still assessing what we have so might not bring him back. Be nice if he could, he would be a good signing.
We do have Haworth back in training along with Grimes and Lacey. So we might have other options against Tranmere, and Tranmere know all about Haworth, be nice if he could score a goal like that again.

Not meaning in any way to be funny...but seems like you aren't definite as to what's what either. Anybody know the definitive position?K_BFC wrote:Otis Khan's loan was already extended to 2nd January, see Sheffield Uniteds website. Everything seems to be unnecessarily silent.
Personally I think if he's gone we should send best wishes, as he gave me the impression of being a real trier, with a lot of skill too. If there's a deal for him to come back, we should welcome him on the same basis.
Strange official silence about his position at the moment.

Re: Barrow v Tranmere predictions
Expecting a tough competitive game with Nults returning once again to his former club. Will go for an entertaining 1-1 goal from Pilkington.......... Att;1785

Re: Barrow v Tranmere predictions
A battling 2-1 win with goals from Cook and Walker (pen) Att 1666. Cook and/or McNulty sent off after a bruising battle from the first whistle.

The inspection was also mentioned on Facebook - the club using social media!
Re: Barrow v Tranmere predictions
People on the Tranmere forum not convinced yet about Steve McNulty, they are clearly not worthy!!!!!
