Re: Player of year
Embarassing. Cowps won goal of the year but they don't actually have a trophy ready for it so they had to pretend to give him the players player one then take it back.
Also shows a bit of disregard that the trust and national supporters trophies weren't presented. They clearly didn't consult with them or care, was just announced that the trophies weren't here so they'd be given "in the coming weeks".
I can't wait until we finally start doing things properly...

Still fail to see why they were so desperate to present them today.Ste Story wrote:Embarassing. Cowps won goal of the year but they don't actually have a trophy ready for it so they had to pretend to give him the players player one then take it back.

Re: Player of year
The announcement of "is anyone from the trust or NSC here?" makes us look daft.
Then "the trust and NSC will be presenting theirs in a couple of weeks"

Re: Player of year
It was more a case of it catching the Trust out with the early player awards Al, I'm assuming it was the same with the NSC. Look at it this way - you get two player awards this season.....more reason to stop out againboyliegladbach wrote:The announcement of "is anyone from the trust or NSC here?" makes us look daft.

We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Re: Player of year
Ian, wasn't having a go at NSC or trust, more the rushed awards night. I know they did it to coincide with the families day which is great as the kids in there were enjoying it.spirit of 1990 wrote:It was more a case of it catching the Trust out with the early player awards Al, I'm assuming it was the same with the NSC. No, I realise you weren't having a go at anyone Al and just bringing up a valid point and it's appreciated. Something for the club to consider when bringing forward events like this - something I will pass on.boyliegladbach wrote:Ian, wasn't having a go at NSC or trust, more the rushed awards night.
