The season (and possibly Cook's contract) may not actually be over yet as there are play-offs still to be completed.Pedro wrote:I wonder why it's taking so long for Cooky to move?

Re: Andy Cook
Isn't there an agreement with the club that he would not join another conference side? with the premise of him wanting to leave being based on a desire to play at a higher level but as you say its a very long way from Ferryhill!Bingo wrote:According to the non league paper Eastleigh are interested id be diapointed if he ended up at another club in our league - certainly a long way from home at a club no bigger than us

Re: Andy Cook
This move or non move could go on for a while, so how long do the club wait before making an offer/offers to other strikers? Between a rock and a hard place situation maybe

Re: Andy Cook
Eastleigh not exactly close to home or football league would have to be some serious money surely to go there.
Re: Andy Cook
I wonder if Cooky is going to go back to Grimsby if they win the playoff today?
Let's hope Forest Green win and he may still be our player next season

I think 12 pages of the same old thing is enough now. Just wait and see what happens.
Re: Andy Cook
Contract probably ends on May 31 so may be officially announced then.

I don't blame him for going if he goes to a league club - a player should always have the ambition to play at the higher level and let's be honest do people really expect us to be in the league any time soon - I'm not convinced
I think our Owner expects us to be there ASAP

Probably refers to Williams (Steve) given he's just opted to join Fylde.tictactoe wrote:Em headline says star turns down deal - presume that's cookie can't get on website to check - nothing less than expected but gutted
And no, i wouldn't have used 'star' either.

In the NWEM hierarchy, is a 'star' a greater or lesser figure than an 'ace'?Lancaster Branch wrote:Probably refers to Williams (Steve) given he's just opted to join Fylde.tictactoe wrote:Em headline says star turns down deal - presume that's cookie can't get on website to check - nothing less than expected but gutted
