Re: Lancashire cup
its ok mate, you just keeping us on our toes, its englands qualifier that night to so might might knock a few off the gate,
"Some people believe football is a matter of life and death. I'm very disappointed with that attitude. I can assure you it is much, much more important than that."
Re: Lancashire cup
At least we will have a better chance than England so no reason why gate cannot be a high one.

When was the blue/blue check used then? It was on the back of the Trophy final programme too, iirc.

If its in Barrow it should have been called the "Back Kitchen Design Studio", they missed a trick there.Lancaster Branch wrote:Those top two dates are wrong - Kitchen Design Studio came after Vause for Vauxhall. Barrow Council sponsored us before VfV, appearing on the shirts as Bar ow C un il.

Reminds me of something I read the other day about Thwaites selling out to Marstons, causing redundancies - someone manage to turn off the lights for some of the letters on the side of the brewery, namely the 'h', 'i' and 'e'...Lancaster Branch wrote:Those top two dates are wrong - Kitchen Design Studio came after Vause for Vauxhall. I saw us play at Enfield in a league match wearing that strip. I think it might have been 1988/89.Lancaster Branch wrote:Was it? Ok.

Re: Lancashire cup
Further to my red and yellow quarters brain fart I searched and found this from February this year...
"Lancaster Branch wrote: How about a compromise yellow and red 'Melchester Rovers' kit, a la the Trophy semi replay v Enfield."
That was rather reassuring; it wasn't a dream and I'm still back here in Kansas.
