First game I've seen since Dover and that was an enormous improvement against a good side. Very even game and we finished the stronger, could've nicked it in the last 10 mins. Every player in a Barrow shirt worked their [SwearFilter] off but Yates would get man of the match for me, he was everywhere and was exceptional.

On another note, there is absolutely no chance there was 2300 in that ground. A few of us were discussing it during the first half and opinions ranged from just over 1000 to 1300 at a push.

Great point. sets up another big game Tuesday night. Can't come quick enough now, going into every game full of confidence.

The away fan declared as 86 some suggestion from the Barrow AFC twitter it was more than this - or was 86 about right.

Definitely, need to follow up results like this with a good 3pts at home. Not going to be easy against a decent Macc side, good thing is, they should be without Mccombe who was sent off for a professional foul today

I would've guessed at something around about 140 myself.

Great point soaked up pressure well and then last 10 minutes we had the best chances 5 or 6 really good ones actually. Would've liked us to have gone for it a bit more at the end there but a great result

Andy Wood talking about the 2200+ attendance today. THeir average attendance is 1300 odd so can't see this game attracting nearly 1000 more, unless they are advanced ticket sales not turning up.

Real test now on Tuesday.

That'll be the 1st 2nd & 3rd placed teams we'll have played in four games after Tuesday evenings game.....
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Great game today. Each player gave 100% effort against a very good FGR team. At the end we could have nicked it. Draw however fair result. I agree about the crown no where near 2300 there but one of our fans went round and counted ours and he said there were 124 away fans there. Keep up the good work Coxy and team. Here's to Macclesfield Tuesday

Bad news over parry, hasn't played much but will have been a key squad player.

Sad news indeed, would have been key as the season progresses and injuries and suspensions kicked in.
