44 goals (so far) is some return though BA. Imagine the jizzfest if one of ours scored that many in a season.
Many 'average conf north players' seem to have left Barrow and done very well for themselves.

Fair comment, to an extent that's just football though- and the final 18 months prior to Casson were very hard all round re wages etc so could well have been a factor. I will be more impressed if he gets 25 next season. Not sure anything he did at this level previously. Same goes for Challinor,. Untested at this level as a manager. Look at the difference between Edmo and Cox in approach and contacts. Much will depend on how their chairman sees it I guess.

True we shall see, imagine he will either bag 3 all season or 47 including 2 hattricks against us.

To many people see criticism of the Owner as wrong but this is not North Korea.

I don't believe anyone see's criticism of the Owner as a bad thing when its discussing real life failings or things not going as planned/stated, What I for one have a problem with is people's BS agenda's or fabrication of things that they repeat over & over without validation, that's just stupid.

Hope we continue to grow on & off the field & more Furness sporting public attend games.

I don't believe anyone see's criticism of the Owner as a bad thing when its discussing real life failings or things not going as planned/stated, What I for one have a problem with is people's BS agenda's or fabrication of things that they repeat over & over without validation, that's just stupid.

I think this season has demonstrated how 'a winning team' does NOT attract the Furness sporting public.
This season has been our most successful in Non League Football's top division.

Maybe if the football being played next season is far more attractive than this season's...they will come?

I can't believe your staggering negativity about the chairman.
Who cares about the reasons behind his control of the club? Fundamentally he is a committed Barrow supporter who is able to assist financially in a very telling way. Without him we would be seriously struggling in National League North, about to be relegated.
You bang on about lack of January investment as though it's some God given right for the club to be able to attract and fund suitable players.
It's Casson's money, not yours, and don't ever forget it.
You also have spent all season rubbishing our goalkeepers. This isn't the Premiership; goalkeepers aren't that great in this league (look at today's example for NF). Yes, Flatt makes mistakes. Yes, so did Dixon, but by comparison to others playing at this level, they aren't bad. Best one I've seen this season is the Tranmere one. YOU?

90 s i remember Barrow selling George Smith to Portsmouth for a record fee.
But there will always be those who act like charcters out of Charles [SwearFilter] David Copperfield
Best goalkeeper Erlandson but he was recalled.
Seen some the best Fred Else Peter McDonald and Harry Thomson to name a few.
A Goalkeeper is one of the main players and can be worth a goal start .So not changing g my view on Dixon or Flatt.

Hopefully the club engages the public more each season & offer flexi tickets in 3, 5, 7 or 10 bundles which can be used anytime by people bringing friends, Or the person using them as a mini ST etc

The style of play may improve but i don't think its Cox's way but a few headline signings & a strong winning start usually helps, But a ramped up out reaching to the public will surely help our support grow.

Facilities need to improve as you just can not expect the public to put up with sub par surroundings in this day & age but to do it right takes a long time with the planning &red tape.

The club have introduced a new young adult 18-22 ticket and I really think that is a good move. Off the field is where I hope to see us progress. Really would like to see the team train once a week at Holker Street- maybe on the day of a night match and combine it with community initiatives. The club needs to embed itself in the community. Not easy I know.

McConville who really was crap for us, Lacey whos not playing anymore, Rowe fair dos is doing well but still unproven above conference north, Smith who's last known club was Southport in 2014

McConville and Lacey are now/went on to be football league players. Danny Rowe is now signed to a Championship club and Paul Smith was put in there as a banter.
