Re: Floodlights Update
Mall, they've been down in the last week doing whatever floodlight installers do pre the actual installing of them. The plan is for them to be up and running for the end of June.
I'll keep this topic updated as soon as I hear a specific date.
Al, the scaffold company have been erecting some staging under the main stand (in the GMA) for the painters to remove the old paint off the stand steelwork and re-paint with an up to date fireproof paint to bring it all up to current fire regs.

We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.
Re: Floodlights Update
Ian do you know if the middle section of the main stand steelwork is being shot blasted and treated over summer. To finish that job off?

Ian, do you know what size of shot is being used. And what make of paint is being put on. Also what size brushes. Jesus wept.

GT Blue- Why are you trying to derail the thread with another of your inane rants. Sometimes adding to the conversation or simply ignoring it is better than going out of your way to contribute absolutely nothing. Is there a reason for this?

Re: Floodlights Update
Was meant to be a light hearted joke.It obviously did"nt reach your chuckle muscle Jonty .Some just post any old twaddle. Like what size light bulbs in the floodligjts etc. Good grief. The work will be done before the season starts ! Why bother Ian every 5 minutes. If there is anyhing to report to the fans I'm sure Ian will let us know. He has a life to lead just like everyone else. Contribution over.Jonty wrote:GT Blue- Why are you trying to derail the thread with another of your inane rants. Re: Floodlights Update
Decent contribution on a number of threads gets derailed and people are reluctant to join the forum and post or get driven off the the forum altogether because things get derailed through utter garbage. It would be better if you just choose to ignore when you think it's twaddle and let others have the discussion. No harm done hey.
