That is one of the worst interviews I've ever heard by any manager, full of desperation and excuses. He has just damaged the squad with his injury woes.

He's just the same on the touchline. Absolutely no emotion or passion. He was obviously the cheap option but who on earth gave him a two and half year contract? Certainly nobody with any business nouse. Should have been given to the end of the season with an option to carry on if he met targets.

After listening to todays live broadcast on RC I would not be at all surprised if Paul Casson did call it a day. We all know when your team loses a football match especially one you are expected to win with goals to spare fans say things they normally would not say. But the abuse directed at Paul Casson at the final wistle and who had a microphone in his hand and would be heard the world over was out of the highest order and reduced him to tears. I just hope the people involved are proud of their moments of fame. This sort of behaviour is too regular occurrence and unless it stops there won't be a Barrow AFC to support.

Root cause of this is too many changes to the team over summer. We had a competitive side, now we have a team who just have not gelled and are not able to improve week on week. Even when injuries are considered we should still be in a better position but the reality is it is just not working on any level.

This season is now all about maintaining our Conference Natuonal status and Casson has to ask if the current performance is acceptable for the outlay. Listening to him on the radio today, he is clearly not impressed with what is on show.
