Well that was fantastic, really good performance and as enjoyable as the Boreham wood game.

Harrison and Yussef were outstanding the first half, absolutely tore their defence apart. felt a bit sorry for Harrison as he deserved a goal but carry on like that and he'll soon be making up for his slow start. Good to see them both so fired up. Bauress had one of his better games for us, it's been a big step up for him so hopefully he can use this as a platform to kick on.

All players stepped up today and gave it their all, something that has been lacking lately. Disappointing attendance, thought we would have had more there.

Referee was shocking.

Not too many looking like they want out to me. Hughes played fantasically well. Got to maintain these levels of performance and we will get out of trouble.

Agree totally with Cuffy earlier in this thread . . . the much derided Bauress had an outstanding game today (as did every one of them of course). But Bauress deserves a special mention, having been written off by some.

Let's be crystal clear, we didn't miss Harvey in the slightest today. One thing that was made only too evident today was that all the recent nonsense is down to a combination of bad attitudes and bad atmosphere all around the club and NOT because the players are not good enough. We have some very decent players and with those to come back from injury we could and really should climb up this league now that . . . hopefully . . . we prove to have a commanding and respected figure in control.

Great to see such a good performance today.

Noticed that after each goal the players all got together in a circle and celebrated as though were a team of 11 not 11 individuals.

Also noticed that when players were subbed Pennock praised them as they came off with hand around shoulders etc telling them how important they are to the squad. This what we need - a feeling from the players that they are wanted and therefore putting in that extra bit of effort. Noticeable that all the players put in an extra shift and in the process saved the opposition scoring.

Also good to see them staying on the pitch and acknowledging the support of the crowd.

Keep this up lads - and Ady - and we'll soon be up that table.

Do those who called him a disgrace when he limped off with a hamstring injury still want Yussuf out of the club?

Best finisher we've had in a long while. Of the maligned handful, Hall impressed me most, breaking up play well in a defensive midfield role. Gomis probably the quietest today, but that's a very well balanced midfield.

There was a real desire to win the ball and make something happen. They made a point of celebrating goals as a team and perhaps the bad apples have gone?

Stand out performers for me were Hughes, Gomis and Harrison.

Apparently Hornby and Pennock already know each other so the management team may already be in place.
