What an uninspiring draw. 2nd in National North and 2nd in National South, both would be very tough away from home.

Edit - I'm surprised the draw isn't regionalised at this stage. At lot of small teams travelling a long way (Marine to Dover, Wukkie to Weston or Chesham, Dartford potentially to Gateshead)

Good draw for us Southern Exiles again but really not exciting at all. Been to both grounds before numerous times. Braintree is a shit hole and Brackley is in middle of nowhere.

When you look at the draw as a whole, it could almost be a southern 'fix'. Predominance of long away trips for the northern clubs. At least we are not going to Chesham or Weston on the Mud like Wukkie.

Aye poor draw all in all!! Could of been worse, but at least we have a sporting chance as we wouldn't of stood a chance at home. ;)

Good set of info there BUT [as expected no doubt] NOTHING on the inadequate Club Official site. Shows just how much they do care. Rant over

Orpheus.

Is there a club official website? I thought this was the official message site?

Orpheus,

My fault, I got the page ready and set it to private until the opposition was announced so it would be up straight away, then forgot to change it to public. You can find it here:

http://barrowafc.com/fa-trophy-2nd-roun ... -v-barrow/

It was on the clubs social media channels as soon as the draw was made.

Not the draw we were after. Both tough ties and away from home also!

It will cost us more to travel down and pay for training and hotel abd wages than the prize money we could win

Costs come out of gate receipts if the tie is over a certain distance to the travelling club, I think
