Re: Winterval ticket offer
It will be. You can still get your ticket from Eventbrite and get £1 off. (print your ticket). Alternatively you may know someone who got a free ticket for sat from the Wrexham game who can't go.

Bingo
I agree that the club has been a bit better in this instance but would this not be a standard thing to have done in any case? I wouldn’t think congratulations were in order

Re: Winterval ticket offer
No, you have to take it to the office. Only applies to tickets bought in advance so if you paid on the day v Wrexham you don’t get a freebie for today.
All explained in the link in the opening post of the thread.

Ok yes I bought it on the day seems a bit unfair as if you've bought a ticket on boxing day its regardless where or when as the club still benefit surely. Ok I can't afford both after Christmas etc so will wish them luck and listen on the radio .
Thanks for explaining

Re: Winterval ticket offer
Is there a difference between the actual tickets bought in advance and those bought on the day?

Re: Winterval ticket offer
These things don't get promoted well enough tho
Was there an article in the paper / did the club offer up a couple of tickets as a competition in the local paper or local commercial radio as means of advertising the Christmas cracker tickets. Did they announce reduced prices at the Wrexham game ??
The Christmas tickets should have been available from elsewhere other than the club.
Instead it's a poster done a couple of days before and a couple of tweets and Facebook posts.
Reduced pricing for today but I bet it came as a surprise for some going through the turnstiles.
Keep it simple - plug the arse off it, work with every local media outlet to promote it and have a decent run in time to these things.
Of course winning a few games at home might help too and in the longer term we need better facilities - you have to make a concerted effort to spend money at Barrow AFC our spend per head must be the lowest in the league .
