If this is your third year or more of buying a season ticket you get a further 25% off the advanced price of a season ticket. Its all explained on the official website.

They've got a list of those who have done the 3 years as it were. Small note, offer is not for the Youth/under 25s whatever over the 3 years.

So we are going to have a membership scheme. I already pay a membership for the Bluebirds Trust so why should I pay another subscription? Answers please.

I didn't get the impression it was compulsary to join the club membership. A choice surely.

Obviously a choice but why have two schemes, I cannot see people wanting to contribute twice to the club so you will finish up with the two schemes competing against each other for the same money.

They could be offering two different concepts. Season ticket holders don't have to contribute as membership comes with the ST
Probably best to just wait and see which one is offering the scheme that suits you if its one or the other.

I think we should do like they do in some shops and do a 3 for 2 offer.

Trouble is finding 3 people who would be interested.

The two memberships are different organisations. One is for the club, the other for a community trust. The money for the Bluebirds Trust membership doesn't go to the club.

It is patently obvious that the two memberships are for different organisations and that the Trust membership fees don't go to the club but the point is, are the supporters prepared to pay both and if not, which one will they opt for, there is a limit to what the ordinary man in the street will splash out in support of their interest in the professional game in the town whether its direct to the club or to a support organisation.

Give it to the trust. The club have just spent £16k on agents fees to add to the £50k on a fancy dinner at the Gherkin etc etc, they don’t need it

I get what you are saying Touchstone71, I have concerns that it might have a detrimental effect on Trust membership although I'm sure that isn't the aim.
Hopefully people will continue to realise the good the Trust does in it's community and travel work and in trying to safeguard the future of the club and will continue to give it their fullest support whenever possible.
And those with the extra revenue will do both if they so wish.

Fair enough. I think people would get both if the club either reduced the price or offered more for the money.
