Re: question for Paul Casson
Casson decided to buy Barrow AFC when he was [SwearFilter].
He must also have been [SwearFilter] when he sent his stupid son riding into town to save us.

Re: question for Paul Casson
I really dont think there is any need to talk about him like that because it's insulting Paul as well IMO.
I wouldn't like it if it was my son.

Re: question for Paul Casson
Maybe Paul Casson has a smart plan of putting a few million on Barrow to finish bottom next season and using his winnings to re-build the club. Unfortunately, the odds won't be very high but it is an absolute certainty!

Re: question for Paul Casson
Paul Casson stated when he took over that he set aside 1.8 million pounds for the first two years. That is before the floodlights, the roof and probably our outstanding boiler systems expenditure were thought about. So with what turned out to be the Paul Cox flying circus. The outlay of paying off managers and under achieving players four million sounds like we came off lightly.
Can you imagine what we could of achieved with a specialised head of football operations in charge who would of got Paul Cox and Co to toe the line or highlighted their shortcomings sooner
Maybe we would of found ourselves to be in a stronger position than we find ourselves now, achieved a play off berth and who knows where that would of ended up!!
One season down the line it looks like the classic car we craved for most our lives engine has blown up. So do we give up on it! Heck no, let's get a new specialist mechanic who really knows what he is doing put a new engine in it and hit the road running as this motor has years of good milage ahead of it yet. It just needs one totally commited owner and one hell of a lot of love and attention!! We will give it the love and attention it needs by the bucketful. Paul will you please provide the specialist mechanic and carry on being the commited owner.

Re: question for Paul Casson
Its been a sad week with recent news and events but reality is, running a club like we have been is unsustainable and poor business! The cassons have paid in to the club via the heart and not the head.. But we have to remember that it is/was their own money!! They made massive mistakes which have cost them and us all dearly.. We have been raped by big time charlies such as cox and certain players, people who had nothing but personal gain on their mind and no care fir our club or us fans. That unfortunately is how football is i guess? To personally attack the casson family for trying to give a lasting legacy to the town is a bit low and attacking andrew like we are is shamefully sad.. He is no footbal) man but hes put a stop to the rot thats setting in and also trying to find ways of being self sufficient on income of around 10-15k a week (season time) ffs people.. We have been spending 20k plus a week just on crap players.. Despite having a millionair owner, we cant surely expect them to continue like they have?
Where we will be in one, two or three years i dont know? But what i do know is we are the best and most caring bunch of fans in the world and if they need our help, then by christ we step up and do what we can with our sharef ability like we have done for years! The immediate future does not bode well but if they and us get this right now before its too late, we might..might just have a club that has solid foundation with good if nit great local footballing talent? Im a proud lad and im saddened by the weeks news but im not and nevet have been one yo shy away from the fight.. I wont sit idle or turn my back, i will do what i can to help! Please everyone, be sad and upset but on the flip side, lets hold our heads high, stick our chest out and get stuck in to the challenge that faces us. Once a bluebird, always a blue!

"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.
