You can have genuine lads trying 100% playing their hearts out, but if they do not have some national league level skill to go with it there is only one outcome. We all know what that is. I hope for the best, but very much fear the worst.

Everyone seemed to agree that Jordan White always gave 100%, but seem very happy he's out the door.

14 southern teams next season, hard working northern team to kick them about they won’t like it, we’ll be 5 points clear of 2nd by Christmas.

That's what I'm thinking (not the 5 points clear bit haha).. But that we need a real Northern identity next season. Something the Southern teams won't like. Hope we make Holker Street a hard place to visit again instead of easy pickings!

It is not about Jordon White, its about our current policy and mindset from the top.

Yes, and are they not the clubs current policy leagues below of signing. I know they have not kicked a ball for us yet, but they have kicked plenty, and never played, or impressed long to date in the National Conference. I do hope they make it , have serious reservations however. Not negative, just realistic. Williams and Bennett were fortunate one offs, lucky will not happen every season,, remember Hunt and Rowlands.

not forgetting that Diarra was signed from the division below conference south- the same level that Granite came from - so it was Williams, Bennett and Diarra....
Lancashire;- born and bred

Lots of people on here seem to be thinking that because we’ve signed a few lower league lads that we will only be signing lower league lads, Yes we have a reduced budget but I don’t believe it’s dramatically lower & that we will sign a ( Hopefully ) healthy mix of experienced lads to help out these newer lads adjust to this level & Im expecting us to be lower to mid table fodder but have enough to keep some distance from the trap door then keep the majority of the better lads & sign a hand full better again and hopefully challenge the season after, Yes lots of hope in there but that’s all we as fans have isn’t it.
