I think you are correct Nick. BBC are sticking with the same team thread throughout the competition and Chorley was the team last week so the continuity continues I expect.

They showed Torquay the round earlier and didn't show their next game. I think they choose a team from this round then follow their progress or the team that beats them.

The Chorley game is a highly winnable fixture. We could have got far sterner tests than facing a team one division below us. Bring it on...the FA Cup First Round!

Not sure why people are saying it’s a tough draw? A part-time outfit in the league below containing a plethora of Barrow rejects. It should be a comfortable win for the Blues.

Dwayne do you mean like lots of people said we are going down as we have brought in a load of lower league & Guiseley & other poor preforming club rejects?

They are high flying, Unbeaten & full of confidence & playing at home.....Anyone’s game unless the best Barrow team turn up & fight for everything, Igs the Cup afterall.

It's not an easy tie - but it's winnable.

I'd rather we play Chorley away than Salford? Fylde? Wrexham?

I'd rather we play a team one league below us away than ANY team from the National League on their own turf. I don't know much about Chorley - are they part-time? Have they been tested against 'superior opposition' in the preliminary stages of this season's FA Cup?

Just hope the local lame brains stay away from this fixture.
Last time we visited their ground some goons tried to board our coach at the traffic lights. Until they realised we were going to introduce ourselves. Cue 15 or so frightened rabbits running for the hills...

Chorley v Barrow should be an honest cup tie. For us this will be no different to preparing for any away VN game. Whilst its a tough fixture we wont have to make any adjustments for a ploughed field or for playing a pub team hyped up on psychological and emotional steroids. Given that we now have a young developing group, this might actually be advantageous. I'm not sure that they'd find it easy adapting to a side several leagues below.

They've had some recent trouble in the town, not sure whether it was other club coaches stopping off en route to or from games or whether it was Chester/Chorley ill feeling that seems to have rumbled on over the years. Probably need everyone to be extra vigilant.

Looking at Chorley's current league stats, I wouldn't be surprised if this turns out to be one of our toughest games of the season.

Hopefully we can pull off a win, after all we've managed it against Bristol Rovers and Brentford
