Re: Ground Maintenance Area
That's absolutely fine Al, you've done more than your bit with all the help you've given us in the past, this is what some people don't realise, people like yourself have helped out without the recognition you all deserve...there are plenty of others as well. I'm sure in the coming weeks (months) the owners will help us out with the answers you're after though.boyliegladbach wrote: ↑Sun Jan 27, 2019 6:53 pm I'm reluctant to donate cash until I hear what the long term plans of the new owners are.
Thanks Andy, that is greatly appreciated, it really is a massive help.
Either PM me or any other of the people involved on Sunday mornings and we can sort something out that way (even a fiver, one of us can pick it up from wherever you live) Alternatively you can send it to the Trust with it earmarked for us. I don't think they'll be too pleased with all the hassle that brings but as they always do, they help us out. Even dropping it off at the Trust shop in an envelope mentioning us on the front would do.

Get a campaign going on fb - more people will see it that way - you never know who will contribute - and easier to share
Setting up a go fund me page - every little helps and perhaps exiles would contribute this way.
The bucket/jar way never really works that well to be honest. fb could be an idea (I don't think many of us use that too much though....again, any help that would be appreciated, these are ways all of us can help the club)
Regarding the exiles, one has been in touch with something along the lines of donating - much in the same way as a supporter & his partner who can't make all our home games gave me a very nice donation last month. This is something we'll be discussing over the next month or so.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Ask Ryan to promote it via fb and Twitter...spirit of 1990 wrote: ↑Sun Jan 27, 2019 7:42 pmThat's absolutely fine Al, you've done more than your bit with all the help you've given us in the past, this is what some people don't realise, people like yourself have helped out without the recognition you all deserve...there are plenty of others as well. Thank you to “Thor”
who has offered to buy us a sledgehammer.
A well known forum user who wishes to remain anon. Another person who has helped us out many times in the past.

Re: Ground Maintenance Area
At the moment, not much Andy. Basically to make safe the area that leads up to the two pop side toilets. I don’t know how to measure these sorts of things but perhaps one cement mixer load. A bag of cement and three of sand?

Thanks Andy, greatly appreciated. I think we’ll be there this Sunday but I’ll have to check with the others first.
Thank you to “Thor” who very promptly dropped the sledgehammer off for us at the club today.

We have to finish off the toilets for the Bromley game.

Other items we are going to need are:
