Dior Angus
According to an article in today's (Evening) Mail Ian Evatt said a deal has been agreed and just needs signing when Angus returns from a fishing trip abroad.

Re: Dior Angus
He didn't impress me too much, but he'll be a decent signing as long as we're not relying on him to be our main man up front. Didn't really see much of his supposed "explosive pace", but that's always handy coming off the bench.

Re: Dior Angus
between Angus, Danger Mouse, Hindle and the mystery guy we can't announce till after June 1st (?) we should have far more options than we had last season when Hindle was our lone striker most of the time after Tyler Smith was recalled. Anyone know who the mystery guy is PM me, lol.

Jury still out on this one, but showed signs of promise - trust in Evatt, a good pre season with us and we might see a different player. Good luck to the lad

Re: Dior Angus
Hope his fishing is better than his finishing

Re: Dior Angus
I feel he will be a lot of work in progress from what I observed of his playing ability as a national league striker, I do hope he does the biz though if he signs up. After our problems last year scoring goals I was hoping for a striker with a half decent scoring record. Maybe our budget this year does not run to this, but we need to score more goals to have any chance of hitting the play offs in my opinion.

Angus needs to start putting them in the net. The last thing we want is a goal trout.

Re: Dior Angus
If he Nets a Haul similar to Danny Roe our Perch for a Striper will be over
Re: Dior Angus
Reading between the lines our striper erm striker search may be already hooked. Hopefully he will be netted on plenty of occasions.mickmike wilson wrote: ↑Sun May 19, 2019 5:01 pm If he Nets a Haul similar to Danny Roe our Perch for a Striper will be over
