We’ve missed out there. Fylde are rivals to us and he is a great age to develop and will undoubtedly make them a better side. I’d have like to have seen him here.

Has potential no doubts about that. But I think we can get a better fit than Kyle Jameson. Let’s just wait and see!

I'm sure it was the Fylde game where Jameson had a cracking game, one of the best I've seen him play. They probably took note then and have been on to his agent since.

Good player but as stated hopefully we can do better

When I've seen Jameson I haven't been over-impressed. Definitely not a loss to compare to Dan Jones who has always looked a top class player.

Dear me lads, He’s only 20 year old!! stepping into first team football for the first time! For me, Jameson is a displays the qualities of the modern centre back, athletic, comfortable with the ball at his feet, passing range is good and can bring the ball forward... I am sure Evo would have wanted him here. All about opinions I suppose.

As ever, if he had Barrow-in-Furness on his birth certificate, this forum would be hailing him as a fantastic talent. A 20-year-old defender is going to make mistakes, but Jameson looks like he has all the attributes to have a good career in the league.

given what's just happened to Gateshead - there only player left is Scott Barrow who's contract expires Friday next week - he may become a target now... Evo just said on BBC Radio Cumbria we are looking at probably a central defender, a left back and 2 more midfield players still to sign.

He's quality, got a mistake in him occasionally, but a great player at this level.

Would have had Jameson back in a heartbeat. Came on leaps and bounds in our season with us and only 20.

It was only the season before when everyone slated jones and Jameson looked a decent young player i was impressed with him
