Was an excellent night. Good football from both teams in a difficult wind. Barrow devastating in the first 15-20 minutes. Very nervy at 2-1, but Quigley's excellent finish for 3-1 eased the pressure. We look a real side in this league. Platt, Dixon (much better kicking and a couple of crucial saves) and Rooney were standouts for me, but everyone played a big part. Couldn't possibly miss Saturday.

Still up and just giddy with it all.

Good night, busy night, good crowd who made a bit of noise, 2 good teams although we deserved it.

Can't wait for Saturday

Great performance against a very good team : dig deep in second half and literally weathered the storm. Dixon, Platt and Taylor give us such a solid base . We look like a team. Bit stretched at times in 2nd half but to come back and put the game to bed just shows how good and solid we have become - not to mention our football skills and goal scoring .
Keep it going guys !!

That stop Joel made with his leg second half was sublime.
Slept so well last night and still buzzing with excitement this morning. :scarf: :scarf:

Great night, a contractor from the yard went for his first game, said he would go again at the next mid week. Come on Barrow!

Convincing first 25 mins, could have mullered them tbh..seem to take foot off the gas a bit but still seemed very comfortable!
We seem to be oozing confidence and class and I just hope we keep fit and clear from injury.

Good crowd too, well done everyone for making the effort.

For a fixture that would normally attract around 1000 on a windy/wet night in October, it was great to see such a good crowd and even better because it wasn't boosted by visiting fans. Long may it continue.

That first 30 minutes....must be up there with one of our best periods of the season, we made them look like they only had eight players on the pitch at times.
I’d have hated to have been on the spot trying to pick a MotM award last night, they really were all that good.

Great to see/hear off the few extras I dragged along that they’ll be back on Saturday.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

A bit late but I thought the referee did well, He seemed to recognise when players were diving plus I thought he dealt really well with the odd bit of brutality from a Boreham Wood team who looked like they could get nasty if given the chance.
