I know we have our ongoing monthly draw which is driven by the one off£25 payment, but I still think my idea I posted some time back would not only generate good funds for the club but would also create interest with good monthly cash prizes. I’m also fully aware many don’t have spare cash as times can be tough. Create a club, let’s call it the “300 club” we’re we attemp to get 300 supporters,who can afford it, to pay £10 a month DD, have 5x £200 draw each month and remaining £2000 goes to the club, raising an extra £24,000 a year. Winner all round.

When you put it like that- ..would be a good earner.

The Trust have a monthly lottery that is on the to do list to revitalise. You can win up to £25,000.

£65000 by May 31st is over £380 a day- not impossible but a big ask. We would need to start raising money ASAP to have any chance. Probably too late for a Christmas draw but a New Years draw a tenner in with 50 percent going as prizes would get the ball rolling

All fans of Barrow AFC have an interest in our 10% share holding of the club. If people have a good idea they want to start up and get off the ground to help then please feel free to contact the board.

We are a small group of people, who at this busy time of year, and with fixtures coming thick and fast, only have a certain bandwidth we can cover. We will welcome support, ideas and volunteers gladly!

Maybe invite a few past players to feature for each side and show the 1990 and 2010 FA trophy game on the large screen in the bar afterwards to make a proper night of it!
Or run an FA trophy night separately, view the games invite past players for a chat, bit of grub and beers and relive the experience all over again!

That's true but it also requires no work from the Trust so a free income source.
