Anyone into their IPA's/Real ale's The Pendle Witch just behind Market Street always has a good selection, 5 minutes stagger from the ground!. For conveneince most go to Atherton Arms next to the club but isn't as good.

Collys pitch does indeed hold a few puddles after a big downpour as stated by the club, further rain and frost expected over the next few days. Would be a good Saturday day out fixture ideally.

That would have been our exiles group's watering hole of choice had we made it to Atherton, but our journey was curtailed as the news of the postponement hit us as we approached Wigan. A quick discussion in the excellent Wigan Central pub, remarkably convenient for both railway stations, saw us deciding to divert to Manchester, and somehow we gravitated to the Peveril of the Peak, another excellent boozer.

No football, but the day was salvaged; all was not lost.

the clubs can decide that it will be decided with extra time on the day - but that needs to be agreed before the match. At least one match on Saturday went to penalties
