We were on top for 60 mins, then the sending off changed the game. Disappointing last half hour. Quigley’s absence means one of the other strikers has to step up this week and show they should be starting. Glad to have Brad Barry back. Title run ins are never smooth but we’ll keep doing our best etc.

Spot on, tbf.

Will be a 2 point gap tonight and the momentum with harrogate
Not yet. Don't expect Harrogate to automatically win. Strange results at this time.
Told you. More twists and turns yet. It's still in our hands.

Bromley better team and deserved a draw, could have snatched it at the end as well. 4 points clear, keep believing!

Their fella kicked the ball away a few minutes earlier and got a talking too, Kay did it and got booked.

Ref was an odd one today, nqat.
Kay gave him a massive mouthful prior to that incident to which the ref said no more and then not 2 mins later launched the ball in frustration himself to blame sadly he had had a warning up the bromley we ve been let off again

Fair enough, missed Kay giving him some verbals.

Said we were on top until the sending off but that was a correct decision although there were plenty of other decisions that weren't.
He also said that it is a tough league and we have to expect some defeats.

Absolutely Dave, we mentioned that during the game but that in no way excuses Kay for his “offence” which could ultimately & possibly cost us. Stupid, it really was.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Quigs was never gonna be rested - too important.

Let's get this new lad out there, see if he can bag a few goals and then get a fresh Quigs back for the last 5 or 6 games

Harrogate were underwhelming tonight (as were Bromley) so I fancy Solihull to get at least a draw next Friday. They are fighting for a play off spot so massive game for them. Then let's hammer Wrexham on Sat and we could be 6 or 7 points clear again.

Easy.

I would try Angus playing in the role that Tyler Smith did so well for us but we need the wing backs to step up big time over recent weeks we have lacked the intensity to push teams back , the only worrying thing is have we actually got anyone who is going to get the goals it's a big ask on 2 young loanees not used to this league that's not counting the pressure of playing in front of a large crowd!

Time to bring Barry back.
Jones on the bench
Brough back in defence
Maybe Dyson up front but definately not Harrison.
A terrible replacement for quigley

I'd start Dyson and Angus and rely on one of the loan forwards as sub or bring hindle back from his loan

Weirdly feel like we should have never lost that game. Pre red card I don't think there was a chance we would.
Notts county took their chance against 10 men with both hands.

Quigley probably deserved the red, stupid to go in for it.

Kay 100% deserved a yellow for that, absolutely launched the ball and was losing his head most match.

Feel very sorry for Harrison but today he was dreadful, he's done for me would rather throw a loan kid on.

Rooney shouldn't be near pens and probably needs to chill out with our own players, goes mad sometimes.
Theyve won plenty of points for us this season but today's loss is down to rooneys pen and quigleys red card.

Plus point, hardcastle is an absolute baller. Should be playing every minute.

Jones not playing well, and Platt hasn't done well since he came back. Kay nowhere near as good as Barry in that position. Hopefully Barry back next week. Difficult selection problem up front for 3 games with Quigley out. A lot to ask of Soule if he's still here and Vye.
Platt was class today.
He certainly was, it was a very strange decision to take him off, NC literally walked through our defence to score 2 minutes of him not being on the pitch!
Rooney’s attitude was abysmal today, constantly blaming everyone else with zero accountability for himself & didn’t stop sulking since the penalty miss.
Regardless it’s still in our hands, take it on the chin and go again next week.

Strange as the commentators on Radio Nottingham picked out Rooney as the player who would interest any scouts at the game. They said he was excellent and all over the pitch trying to grt Barrow moving.

Must have confused him with Hardcastle
