The league will need to draw up a framework of their own for clubs to vote on before they can confirm anything

I might be wrong but I think the process is now that they have the meeting on L1 at then at about 5.30pm they get together and have one final vote that will cover everything agreed separately.

..or I might be wrong. Each division now has to decide apparently whether to curtail or not. I'm assuming League 2 will not be changing their minds.

Presumably, once L2 confirm ending of the season and their table is determined by unweighted PPG the EFL will indicate whether they want the 2 vacancies to be filled.

I can't believe this is going to drag on still further after today... I thought the national league had canvassed clubs on the proposals to have play offs many weeks ago.. There needs to be some clarity on the position and rule out null and void I understand they wanted to wait until today and this sounds good news for us but this needs bringing to a final conclusion asap.. Knowing these decisions were being made today why did the national league not convene a meeting.. I've just got a feeling we are still going to get stitched up and that because the league doesn't know when it can start there will be a null and void (no league knows)

The EFL regs state 72 clubs - so yes they will need replacing
