When Dan Jones came into the side we hadnt won in 5 and had just lost the last two games so I wouldnt say it coincided with him coming in

We won the first game he played and if i recall IE said it was one.of our most mpressive wins of the season.

Think i would agree he didnt look match fit, but checking online i see.he hadnt played since ocrober as he had been injured. It takes.six games.to get up to speed.

Not having that harrison gets an extension in a month of Sundays can claim all you want about holding the ball up but anyone can do that if thats the case give grant holt a 3 rd go haha

I agree. Sadly finished as a player at even NL level. The times I saw him he didn't actually hold the ball up very well and was no danger in any of his sub appearances.

I think IE kept him as a favour they played together on the past i think.
It will be interesting to see if we get a retained list this week would indicate if I.E is staying or not.

Blackburn released their retained list today. Matt Platt has had his contract extended to June 2021.

Harrison, Granite, Brown, Taylor and Hird are players that decisions have to be made - at the start of the thread I listed 9 players who were on contract for next season and they were not on the list - however Paul Hornby said 11 players were signed up already - which implies 2 have triggered extensions* - my guess would be that it's 2 out of Taylor, Hird, Brown and Harrison - but most of us won't know who had extension clauses - although it has been suggested the 2 are Hird and Taylor.
Waddington, Elsden and Hindle had all been loaned out until the end of the season - so i can't see any of them getting another contract.

With Platt's contract being extended at Blackburn their next logical step would be loaning him to a League 2 club....

won't need to "buy" someone who has been released - not that i'd expect that many would be worth looking at judging by Bolton's last season.....
