What did it say regarding cancelled games in the terms and conditions, season ticket holders? Tried googling but only brought up results for other clubs.

Could it be because the club closed down, as did every other business, very quickly. This wasn’t the same as a game being cancelled.
We had a mini-bus booked for the Halifax game....the deposit is still with them and I’m not sure we’ll be getting it back (people wanted to donate it to the GMV fund anyway) but I guess I’ll have to ask, I can only assume the same applies with a football club - and probably thousands of other similar situations.

I know it’s a personal choice & everyone’s situation is different but there’s not a chance I would’ve even been contemplating asking for some form of refund.

I don't buy this at all, the club shut down but still processed orders and advertised the club shop on social media and also how much those who bought advanced tickets had decided to donate back to the club. Never once a mention of season ticket holders who in retrospect would have probably not been far off saving money having not bought a ST and just taken advantage of the ticket offers.

As I said, I wasn't looking for a refund I just feel its poor business by the club, not acknowledging or offering something to those most loyal before the start of a season. I can name at least 5 or 6 ST holders who have had a really hard time during Covid-19 and that extra money back would have given them a massive boost given they have now lost their jobs (after being furloughed)

I agree wholeheartedly with Jameston. I myself am aware of three disgruntled pensioners who are season ticket holders.
Hopefully somebody from the club will acknowledge that on this occasion they got this one wrong. I am sure they will be aware of what's been said on the forum.

Most people would probably have donated the remaining season ticket money back to the club.......but that’s not really the point; when we have done so well off the field lately it is disappointing they haven’t got in touch with season ticket holders (or at the very least a statement on the website) to explain the situation. Probably should have even offered a priority few days to renew for next year or something, which ultimately means nothing but would be a nice token gesture rather than just ignoring the situation altogether

Myself and my kids had season tickets but i never gave it a thought about asking for some money back etc. I left it with the club because i understood the situation but i do accept some fans may have wanted money back or other options. However when you purchase the season ticket, didn't we get in for 5 free pre season games and it worked out what 7 free home games compared to paying on the gate every game ??? So we did get a pretty good deal really. I have purchased tickets this season and im paying almost double due to all my kids having to get the under 18s ticket and atm we might miss 2 ? Home games if we can't go in stadiums until October so are people going to want money or other option for missing these games if it happens?

I think, in fact I know, it was simply an oversight in the maelstrom of trying to sort everything out. Then of course the club were deep in 'what happens now'. Then we went up. Then Evatt left. Then it was on to appointing Dunn.

It has been raised and they are looking at it now as far as I know.

As Steve says, this was an oversight on our part and it is being discussed at the BOD's weekly meeting early this coming week.

When a plan of action is decided we will be in touch with all of last years ST holders.

I apologise to anyone who has felt let down by this, we never take your support for granted - especially ST Holders!

I think we would have to sell a lot of season tickets to get close to the 30% ground capacity that is rumoured to be coming in.

I think the problem will be the stand which seats a maximum of 1000, so if more than 300 stand tickets have been sold - a real possibility I would have thought - then there will be a problem.

A few of them would have to stand elsewhere if that was the case.

That’s the problem a lot of older less fit people in stand some not capable standing 90 mins.i used to stand popular side all weathers till me knees protested lol

If we restart with a limited capacity, will the restrictions also mean there are no away fans?

If so, a small number of home fans could use the away seating. Would at least help a bit if they were struggling for space in the Main Stand.

I'm a season ticket holder for the stand but if there were too many for the restrictions I'd willingly give my seat up and stand elsewhere so someone with greater need of seat could have it. I'm sure there would be plenty of others who would too.
