Absolutely fantastic news. I never thought there was any possibility of a permanent signing so apologies to the people who I doubted but obviously did know what was happening.

Absolutely brilliant by the club to get him back and on a 2 year deal .Great bit of business well done BOD

Superb news; on a permanent deal is a huge bonus. Any news on the fee?

[Middleton Nick]

That is great news. He was without doubt our best loan player and his contribution made us solid at the back. Welcome back Matt and hope you continue to prosper.

Great news! Had my doubts. Thought he might end up at Blackpool. Happy days.

Agreed. In fact, I'd put him alongside Rooney and Quigley as the 3 outstanding players of last season so, although, I was very upset to see Rooney go keeping 2 out 3 is very good business.
