Smoking in ground
Smoking in ground
Will smoking still be allowed in the ground now we are in the football league? Or is it up to the clubs discretion?

Re: Smoking in ground
Google is a great resource:
15 EFL stadia are smoke-free and smoking is not permitted inside the Ground.
It all comes 'round again.
Re: Smoking in ground
Hopefully it’s banned. Nothing worse than being in a packed holker street and all of a sudden your covered in a cloud of smoke by some inconsiderate [SwearFilter] that sparks up in the middle of everyone. Although with the roof going on that will be non smoking as well as the other 2 covers areas

Re: Smoking in ground
I sincerely hope so...as if someone can’t wait 90 minutes. Really inconsiderate in a big crowd.
Re: Smoking in ground
You can't smoke with a mask on.

Re: Smoking in ground
I think the late, great Bill hicks had an excellent spin on non smokers, only vape myself and heard that’s there is gonna be an area by the fanzone anyway

Re: Smoking in ground
Maybe you could light up and then put the mask on, that would be OK
We're all supporters on here. Let's leave the negative comments to the away fans
Re: Smoking in ground
In reply to Alvin, you’d take it off of course, just like if you were eating or drinking in the ground.
Re: Smoking in ground

Re: Smoking in ground
Since when have Rugby and Football fans been allowed to do the same things?
Football fans are put under the microscope by media more than any other sport. After the first week of fans attending, expect a full news story with photos of people breaching social distancing.

Re: Smoking in ground
having spoken to one of the stewards at the weekend I can confirm that smoking is 100% banned in the ground. Anyone caught smoking on the CCTV will more than likely be expelled from the ground and might get banned.
I'm not 100% sure on vaping and e-cigs - but it's fairly safe to assume that is also covered by the ban.
