Biggins
Re: Biggins
It has always been the case that, when fans take a dislike to a player, he can do no right, while other fans see some of the positives. Bolland and Shaw are two players from the past that come to mind. Every player makes bad passes, misses tackles, or is the wrong place at the wrong time on occasions, but we only notice the ones that we have decided are no good.
Re: Biggins
There are a few not playing as good as we want but Biggins does get the brunt of the stick. I think Hardcastle or a new player will take his spot in the team
Re: Biggins
You have to wonder if we all support the same team. There really are some [SwearFilter] on this forum.

Re: Biggins
What a horrible negative thread after a cracking result today against a big L2 club. Really hope none of the players even go near this forum and read some of the shite on here.
Re: Biggins

Re: Biggins
Well Blue Nige I’ve played at a far higher level than most on here believe me, and Biggins has been ineffective, and pretty clueless every game. His positioning is terrible,he continually gives the ball away and infact is a waste of a shirt. So I can only criticise after a deafest can I? He’s obviously a player fleetwood signed, then realised his ability, then said let’s loan him to Barrow for the duration of his contract.

No, Connor Brown wears that crown.John_Bucks wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 6:32 pm I have been a big critic of Biggins but he has assisted or scored in most of our wins...
Is he the main man??
If he is in the line-up Barrow are a force to be reckoned with.

Good point. Another player with many critics on here doing a great job.Wintergreen wrote: ↑Sun Dec 27, 2020 9:56 amNo, Connor Brown wears that crown.John_Bucks wrote: ↑Sat Dec 26, 2020 6:32 pm I have been a big critic of Biggins but he has assisted or scored in most of our wins...

Re: Biggins
But this point about Biggins has been made here over and over. But highlighting it by starting a new thread 30 mins into a match we were winning is at best churlish and at worst mean-spirited. And your claim to the authority of "having played at a far higher level than most" doesn't cut any ice, either. All opinions here are equally valid. Even this one. Even Pedro's.Desmond2-2 wrote: ↑Sun Dec 27, 2020 9:14 am Well Blue Nige I’ve played at a far higher level than most on here believe me, and Biggins has been ineffective, and pretty clueless every game. Re: Biggins
Let's just say, for Desmond2-2's sake, that playing at a higher level does cut some ice. Mark Boyd's opinion yesterday (and, to be fair, he has played at "a far higher level than most") was that all 3 in midfield did exactly the job they had to do. Nothing spectacular, they just grafted and worked as a unit to stop the Port Vale threat. But maybe he's wrong and Adam should have someone else sat by his side who has far greater insight into the game.Arvo wrote: ↑Sun Dec 27, 2020 10:22 amBut this point about Biggins has been made here over and over.
