True, but he has defensive responsibilities covering the opposition left back when he comes forward, see the Tranmere goal.Adam29 wrote: ↑Thu Dec 31, 2020 8:08 amErmmm he’s been playing central midfieldJust A Barrow Fan wrote: ↑Wed Dec 30, 2020 10:52 pm I think everyone’s forgetting that he’s a centre midfielder/ central attacking midfielder. Not a right midfielder which won’t help with his performances...
Not once has he played right midfield

Re: Biggins
we have 3 central defenders, I thought one of them is supposed to cover when the wingbacks push up if it's left to the midfielder to do this it then leaves a gap in midfield, because we didn't do this tranmere constantly had 2 on 1 at times while our 3 defenders were marking 1 forward (Vaughan) that's why we struggled at times the other night!
Happy new year AL

Biggins may not be the best...but if any of his critics on here feel they can do better then I suggest they get themselves up to Holker Street (or the training ground) and take their boots with them.

Seriously? We can all rock up if we fancy a crack at it? Come on now. These boys are professionals. This isn't primary school where we all clap and tell everyone they were really good, even when they werent. They are getting paid to perform. We, as fans, pay money to watch our team and if the performance is poor, we have every right to say so. Caveat being that it's constructive and not abusive.Man and Boy wrote: ↑Thu Dec 31, 2020 10:15 pm Biggins may not be the best...but if any of his critics on here feel they can do better then I suggest they get themselves up to Holker Street (or the training ground) and take their boots with them.
Not too long ago people were bemoaning the "little old Barrow" line, yet here we have people saying things like "he's trying" and "could you do any better" as if this is the best we can hope for and were lucky to have it. He was brought in on loan, it hasn't worked out well so far, time to improve on it or get someone else in in January.
And no, I can't do better, that's why I'm not getting paid to play football.
I'm probably a shit actor as well, doesn't mean I can't say coronation Street is shit, in my opinion, does it?
We hate Carlisle United, we hate Workington too (and Morecambe), we hate Accrington Stanley but Barrow we love you

I don't like the criticism of biggins anymore then the next man, but reading this it's a fair point, we will never all agree, and for the record I think some who post on here are bell ends, but that's just my opinion, maybe wrong, I think I am right, opinions, we all loveBarra Marra wrote: ↑Thu Dec 31, 2020 10:45 pmSeriously? Bell endery to the point of talking and agreeing with themselves while trying to bully and insult other posters even on this thread. The more you put on the "foe" list the better this forum gets.

And if people say that they don't think someone is good enough then they also join Barrowabcs "Hall of bellends".PerthBluebird wrote: ↑Sat Jan 02, 2021 2:20 pm Foe lists the people that have different opinions to yourself and due to that you cant handle it strange mentality to have tbh
I disagree on a lot of things in all walks of life with many people close to me but that doesn't make me think they are all in the wrong. There's a good few of this team I think have either not been good enough or failed to step up from last season, it doesn't mean I don't want them to change my mind.
