Well done board for making a tough but easy choice to sort out the previous charlatan and put a man like Rob Kelly in charge. Mr Kelly I take my hat off to you and thank you from the bottom of my heart for turning our season round. 👏👏👏

A few weeks ago we would definitely have folded under the pressure of the last 15 minutes of the 1st half but RK has instilled a real pride in this group to go out and prove themselves.
The team were superb but I thought Tom Davies was absolutely immense, very "Paul Jones esq"

A third win ...and confidence is growing ... it's a great habit to have ...and the management team really seem to have galvanised the players now ...If we can build on this we will consolidate our position in this league and then prepare for a good season next time around ...with the fans back to cheer on the lads . Great organisation , great endeavour , great belief ... increasing skill and some fine results is the outcome ...well done to all. :scarf:
First match : Barrow v Northampton Town : Sat. 24th Sept. 1960 ... won 1-0... ( which was nice )

That second half performance was simply outstanding. They never had a sniff. We won everything in the air. Tactically absolutely spot on.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

They saw they were heading for relegation under jolley and dunn before him and acted upon on it, instead of watching their chances unfold in front of their eyes - he who dares wins, little barrow have more ambiton".

I love watching a great defensive display, and I mean from one to eleven. We scored because we put them under pressure, I dont care how lucky the goals were, you need to be at the party !!

Just hope we can hang onto Kelly. Didn't want the job last time. Hope he does now and we can keep him.

Never mind the so-called big names. We at last have someone who knows his football. Let's hang on to him.
