He thinks we were "OK" but says we're a bit behind where we should be "for reasons that we know about ". What's he referring to there? Training ground? Recruitment? Cancelling Spennymoor?!

And have the issues now been rectified for them to be able to now train properly from tomorrow onwards?

Not Again, last season we had David Dunn getting the facilities moved, now here we are again !

Next is WHO decided on these new facilities ? the whole thing now is becoming a farce, we act all professional some times and then we shoot ourselves in the foot !

By out of nowhere, do you mean the Crossbar which had no queue?
Why take plastic pots from downstairs then? Surely they had them upstairs?

How was it watching the game from 2 different stands?
No they only had glasses, which aren’t allowed in the fanzone.

Exactly Nige. It's embarrassing
Club should involve the manager & Assistant and a few senior players when sorting a training venue.
Hope it can be sorted.

If there is any serious issues with the training facilities and effecting preparations of matches then I can`t see the manager and assistant manager being happy and could lead to some awkward questions, hope it can be sorted or we might be looking for a new manager.

Under Evatt we trained at Hopwood Hall, didn’t seem to much of an issue judging by results on the pitch. But then Dunn arrived and decreed them to be substandard so we ventured into deepest Cheshire at Egerton. Then at the end of the season we moved to somewhere out towards Bury….which is also not good enough so we’ve been training at Witton Albion.

Is that right? Is there any other patch of grass in the Greater Manchester area I’ve missed?

Wasn't the problem with Hopwood Hall something about access/students during Covid restrictions rather than the facility itself?
