Re: Barrow v Aston Villa
Thanks for this, Can you say if anyone joining the Trust yesterday today or tomorrow WILL be in the Priority line for tickets.JammyBluebird wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 12:48 pmI'm sorry Mike has got this wrong.
GDPR legislation means that we can store your personal information that you give when you join. It's against the law for us to then share that with another organization (in this case Barrow AFC) without individual consent.
A form was sent to everyone with a membership a few weeks ago. If people don't complete that form then the trust will be unable to share their details to Barrow AFC and thus won't be able to add them to a priority list.
We are currently taking a lot of new memberships and renewals so please bare with us while we work through the pile (this is done by volunteers with time jobs), more news will follow in the next few days.

Re: Barrow v Aston Villa
I’ve just signed up now.
Should have done it earlier really but this has given me the nudge that was required!

Check your junk items, mine was in there.

Nice one, cheers - if you want to share this link on heroes and villains, it's recent images of Holker St and the improvements we've made since our promotion - It's a tired old ground, but has a great atmosphere when full.algy wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 7:49 am Another Villa supporter here.
Just echoing a few others here, hope we let you lot have our 45%. In a world where Premier League clubs, including ourselves, are buying and selling players for tens of millions of pounds, it seems crude to be demanding £50,000-ish gate money from a club that's no doubt been hit hard in the pocket by COVID.
Hope it ends up on telly, in front of a sell out crowd.
I'd really love to come up for the game, but not expecting tickets as I'll be well down the queue. I've heard they're mad in to pies and sassparilla round your way, which are both things I'm a huge fan of.
Oh, and slightly belated but welcome back to the football league. It's been too long. Thanks for giving Dimitri Sea a good home!

I really hope we don’t over think this!
Draw up a criteria then promote that criteria with a timeframe.
If season ticketing isn’t going to brought back because of the timeframe highlight and promote the Trust and National supporters club simples.

If your worried about getting a ticket (and aren’t a season ticket holder) just join the trust for the sake of a tenner. Simple
Re: Barrow v Aston Villa
Surely all the approved data transfer will have already been uploaded to the ticketing system together with paid up season ticket holders details?HenneysKnee wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 1:17 pm If your worried about getting a ticket (and aren’t a season ticket holder) just join the trust for the sake of a tenner. You’ve got a lot of faith in that ticketing system.mr_grey wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 1:20 pmSurely all the approved data transfer will have already been uploaded to the ticketing system together with paid up season ticket holders details?HenneysKnee wrote: ↑Thu Aug 12, 2021 1:17 pm If your worried about getting a ticket (and aren’t a season ticket holder) just join the trust for the sake of a tenner. We’ll end up buying tickets for a Wrexham game
Re: Barrow v Aston Villa
Another Villa fan here….
I think amongst the many of us there is genuine curiosity because you’re a ‘new’ club. Personally speaking I’m a bit of a traditionalist snob, and once I found out around 40 years or so ago, that you were once a league club I’ve followed your fortunes from afar. So I was delighted when you went up and stayed up.
For some reason second teams for many Villa teams if not Midlands, tend to be northern. Rather Barrow, Darlington, Rochdale than Dagenham, Crawley, or Stevenage.
However, you lot as fans baffle me.
On my soccer manager mobile game I have had a varied career which took me to taking Altrincham towards promotion from the National League. With some 15 games or so to go Barrow come knocking as you had dispensed with your manager. 1 win from 30 odd games.
Anyhoo after a run of about 7 or 8 wins in the remaining games league 2 safety was secured. The board were delighted. The players were delighted. The players were delighted.
But not you lot. Oh, no, you miserable [SwearFilter], you weren’t happy with results.
Anyway, and after I spent a bit of wedge - kind of gambling on promotion - we started on fire but then a few up and downs and we were 4th. Comfortably so and promotion still more likely than not. Still, throughout what was your best season in 60-70 years or so you still weren’t happy.
Then I got sacked just before the January transfer window opened. I mean, okay we got stuffed 6-2 at home against Exeter but I’d explained the team selection and why many had to be rested.
But you lot. Never happy. Always on my back. I mean what was it with you lot? What did you want? From the moment I got there you were always against me. Anyway, you got promoted, and I ended up at Cambridge.
Erm, oh yeah, Villa. Looking forward to it.
