Not sure what happened with their first goal, all I can think of was the big defection, coupled with the height and spin totally caught Farman out.
Their second….I thought Ellis backed off too much, that mistake apart he was pretty solid. White seemed a little quiet but Banks was everywhere, I liked him last season but he’s getting better & better. Hutton puts some cracking crosses into the box, unfortunately most of the time there isn’t a player on the end of them.
I think Sea could become a useful player but at the moment he’s still very raw and learning, he should be (in an ideal world) behind Zanzalla and a n other in the pecking order.
Although Zanzalla was tiring he was almost certainly dragged off for picking up a totally unnecessary yellow and then getting spoken to…he then took a leaf out of Kay’s book and walked around muttering to himself and looking like he was hard done to. No need.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.

Last Season we lost 20 odd games by a single goal. This Season we've lost 2 games by a single goal. 0 points instead of at least 1, eventually adds up. Little defensive mistakes are hammer-blows, when we won't have Quigley's 15 - 20 goals at the other-end. No scoring bench except Sea. Can only see Brough and Kay scoring occasionally from mid-field. Consensus on this forum is that we need a goal-scoring midfielder and another striker. Seems not much has changed in last 12 months.

How people on here saying we have better players than Quigs are kidding themselves, yes he had his faults, BUT his hold-up play ,bringing players into the attack scoring goals when often he had to do this by himself!, he saved us last year he played lots of times with no support Whatsoever!
,Gordon yes he works hard but he's doing other players jobs instead of focusing where he should be in the penalty area!,as Ian says Sea he's still learning .
Last season EVERYONE was saying we need another forward in to help Quigs, we brought Zanzala in and I thought fantastic two in your face forwards but we then sold Quigs ( I accept we couldn't avoid that) but not to replace this with another proven goalscorer seems bizarre we're now effectively playing with just 2 forwards one of which has a poor goalscoring record over the last 18 months, we also have no goals in midfield, listen I don't think we'll go down but I can't see how we're going to get all the goals!

Think a bit of patience is needed from us fans...Cooper has got to build his team and has already said he won't bring players in for the sake of it.

Some dramatic conclusions on here, we are miles better than last season, every team in the country wants a 20+ goal a season striker, it’s our second season in L2 we’re doing alright.

We also took about three months to get a win last season and we already have one on the board this season.

If anyone doesn't think this team (and manager) is better than last season's, they are insane.

Thought yesterday was a typical snatching defeat from the jaws of victory, as someone said, we were more than comfortable for an hour. It went a bit pear shaped when Tom White and Zanzala went off and Grayson moved out of the back line into the midfield to make way for Ntlhe. Good travelling support, we just let them get on top for the last half hour.

If you read supporters' comments on the League Two forum about 75% of clubs are looking for reinforcements in attack, so it's not as simple as going out and getting one which some seem to think it is.
Popular side since '03.

Zanzala was taken off because the referee brought captain Ellis and Zanzala together and warned them if Zanzala continued to keep fouling he would be sent off, Zanzala's game is based on being Physical in my opinion he was out muscling their defenders unfortunately the referee saw it differently Zanzala had already been booked so the Manager thought it best to bring him off, the referee was very poor today and to some degree spoilt the game

Just watched the highlights, can't believe their equaliser. Yes, there was a deflection but it looked like the world was suddenly spinning too fast for Farman and he had vertigo. One of the worst goalkeeping mistakes I've seen for a while.

Wrong: It did not takes us 3 months to record a win. After 2 months, by end of Oct. 2020, we had 2 wins & 5 draws. Facts don't lie.

A not-fully-fit Zanzala has scored 2 in 3 (part-time) league appearances. That's a ratio of about 30 for the season. Why shouldn't he score 15/20?
Don't let the old man in.

Okay, the season didn't start til September - we had 2 wins by the middle of December, and we've already got half that number.

Do you think this side is better or worse?
