That role as a sweeper is perfect for JT as long as he doesn't have anyone closing him down quickly. Genius decision by MC .

Yep reminds me of Ewbank, very classy, efficient and effortless in the way he goes about his work, packs a real punch when he needs to and a real tidy sweeper that cleans up the mess too!😉

That sort of article shows us how lucky we are to have a board like ours.

Oldham will really have something to worry about if they get relegated.

It's worrying after the Bury Fiasco.
We had a torrid time when SV was here

I never left its easier to divorce than it is to give up a club you followed for years.
I once took my ex to watch Barrow play Southport
I explained you had to get the ball in the net , she said that's good they've scored .
I said yes Southport have she never came to another football match again.

Little shout-out of appreciation for Josh Gordon. Was just listening to the totally football League podcast, and they said nobody has made more tackles this season in League 2 than Josh Gordon, leading from the front!

A tremendous acquisition. He’s quick, has boundless energy, relishes tackling and pretty good with the ball. Takes a lot of pressure off other players, and frees them up. I hope he scores a decent number of goals. His only shortcoming (no pun intended) is his height. Stuck with that, however we’ll he’s coached.

I'm note sure but, I thought they also wore that checked shirt at Altrincham in the FA Trophy ?.
If it's the shirt I think you're referring to? Featured on the front of the 1990 FA Trophy Final programme? They wore it at Enfield in a Non League game in the late 80s.

Interesting. And something which all clubs should bear in mind. Including our own. Without Fans the clubs are nothing. Fans could, and may, decide to stop going to Boundary park. People Power!
