At half time who would have imagined what was in store in the second half.
Every one of those 10.players plus subs can be proud of themselves. To keep coming back after falling behind shows a great fighting spirit.
The fans played their part too in lifting spirits and their belief it was possible to win.

That is very, very, very hard to take. With the exception of Beadling every player should know that they contributed to what surely has to be one of the bravest and most valiant efforts in our 121 year history. To do that with 10 men away to a team much higher up the ladder deserves only the highest praise. I just dread to think how much frustrated salt there will be in the wound if Barnsley go on and get a plum draw in the next round. That would be heartbreak part two.

As manager, Mark Cooper now has the big job in the coming week of being Mark Cooper the psychologist as opposed to tactician, trainer or coach. He's got to get all the positives out of that and make sure the negatives are erased. The players should feel nothing but pride.

With the League situation tightening up at the bottom after today's results, we just cannot afford to go flat after that. I well remember February 4th 1967. What happened that day? We actually beat Bradford Park Avenue 1-0 with a very late Tony Field winner. It came the week after our epic struggles against Southampton in another amazing FA Cup 3rd round tie. But the thing is, I remember watching and feeling flat and bored during a flat and boring match because nothing could get back that level of atmosphere and adrenaline after just a few days. The only surprise is that we did actually manage to still win that day. Mark Cooper now has the unenviable task of getting morale and desire back up after that today. I wish you well, Mr Cooper, you have a vital job in working some magic on those minds in the next week because the League situation won't hang around for us to recover. It's not difficult to recognise the mind-work that's needed in the next week but it's another thing to produce the rapid restorative healing. Very big congratulations on today's epic effort.

Paul what we do now is set a target unbeaten till the end of the season we've new players possibly a couple more ,I think this will make the squad more determined to succeed!
