Cooper left by mutual consent
Re: Cooper left by mutual consent
Must have been lined up for a little while. No way that Cooper can go on Sunday and Brown in Monday morning otherwise.

Well there it is; the only thing Cooperman got right.walneyroad wrote: ↑Mon Mar 21, 2022 3:49 pmYes indeed. He obviously knew when Adam interviewed him. Remember Cooper said something like "you'll see some changes next week".
We will foller the soccer, over land and sea...

It wasn't insider knowledge, just a jokey guess. But sadly the directors are that out of touch with football that it turned out to be true.
Popular side since '03.

In the interests of accuracy and to prevent our friend from creaming his pants it's pretty certain that the loan cant be called in so long as the club or the PG.s don't default on the interest payments and although 7k a month seems like a lot of money its not an issue for a company with a turnover of circa 3.5m and a guarantor estimated to be worth 15m.Methuselah wrote: ↑Mon Mar 21, 2022 12:45 pm I don,t think our board should be criticised at at all.Without their astute management our club could have been a financial basket case like Carlisle who are living on the hope their loans won,t be called in.
The board have made massive strides in the short time they have been in charge.Ok there have and will be bumps along the way,but they supported Mark Cooper when he came here and as far as they were financially able to gave him what he asked for.
Anyone who has watched Mark Cooper's recent interview could see that his heart wasn't, in it anymore. In my opinion the board must have had a very good reason for asking him to leave.Could it be a similar reason to why he was asked to leave Forest Green?
When he came here I for one thought he was the right man for the job,but something had gone badly wrong for the drop off in form,it can,t just be the players.
Carlisle are using the same players who were losing match after match, but Paul Simpson has re energised that same team to win matches,so perhaps we may be able to turn around our team if we manage to find the right person.

Its so obvious that the massive loans/debts that Carlisle operate under are a millstone around the clubs kneck so to speak-and Paul Simpson should steer well clear.M6 BLUE wrote: ↑Mon Mar 21, 2022 9:04 pmIn the interests of accuracy and to prevent our friend from creaming his pants it's pretty certain that the loan cant be called in so long as the club or the PG.s don't default on the interest payments and although 7k a month seems like a lot of money its not an issue for a company with a turnover of circa 3.5m and a guarantor estimated to be worth 15m.Methuselah wrote: ↑Mon Mar 21, 2022 12:45 pm I don,t think our board should be criticised at at all.Without their astute management our club could have been a financial basket case like Carlisle who are living on the hope their loans won,t be called in.
