That was great today thought we were decent for spells I'd have settled for a point before the game .. in fact I was thinking at half time as long as Oldham lose even a loss wouldn't be too bad. t's a massive point realistically Oldham aren't going to get 5 points from 3 games and that's if we lose all of our 4 games. Also If we were to lose the next 3 and Oldham start to win we can't get relegated until the last game of the season.

Sat level with the goal line my thought in real time was that I hoped the assistant didn't see it had crossed.

In terms of whether the ball had already gone dead this side of the goal the line markings weren't that straight, so if it was the same the other side the assistant has my sympathies.

We weren't robbed though we got what we deserved, a hard fought and precious away point.

Good interview, browns like a breath of fresh air, never sounds negative, just sounds honest with ideas to improve us. love that “buy all the fans who came a pint if he could, away following phenomenal, players absolutely loved that the support turned up” bit

Good game we were the better team but would’ve taken a point all day. Unlucky in the first half a couple of times especially for their first goal.
We were undone when they threw another couple of forwards on and went for it.

Great away showing, grounds a bit odd.

All the Brown doubters have gone fairly quiet.

On the other hand, he may have done us a favour - if he'd given a penalty he would have had to send Brough off.

Not sure what second half referee he was watching but every time a Salford player got approached by one of our lads they fell over screaming and got a free kick. Was giving cards out to barrow players for fun all game, even booked beadling for winning the ball in the first half! Officials were poor overall but they still definitely favoured Salford

Yes his passion to do well comes through whilst staying level headed. It’s what you want to hear from the Manager. Last two games we've been competitive and even today when we went one down, I felt we could get back into it when in not too distant past i think heads would have dropped. We looking a lot better all round.
"To achieve anything and to get to the Football League, we have to expect to win every game. I've got to get everyone believing that we can, and I will work hard to embed that mentality into the players, the town, the board and whoever else” Ian Evatt.

To be fair Beadlings booking was one he got correct. He went clean through the back of the Salford player yellow card all day long.

Not all of us; I still very much hope we don’t get sucked into giving him a 2/3 year deal off the back of these two (fantastic and well deserved) results, although I suspect that has always been the plan if we stayed up

Haha….Great day out Nick, with the GMV kitty once again being topped up nicely. Quote of the day going to Riggy “it’s ok taking Kay off but Gordon hasn’t got a goal in him” 😂

Another great performance by virtually the whole team, Brown (if fit) should start every game, he’s putting in performances like he did at the end of last season. Not sure if the ball went out of play before their equaliser (even though virtually on line with it) and still not sure if the ball fully went over the line for the goal. Having said that we got away with a handball in the area earlier in the game (Brough?) so 2-2 on the back of a 4-0…that’s not a bad return seeing as we didn’t know how to score a week ago.
We didn't underestimate them, we just didn't think they were that good.
